I recently purchased this camera and must say that I really like it. The selling point for me was that it has a 5X optical zoom, which very few compact digital cameras in this price range have. The zoom is fantastic quality. The photographs are vibrant and of very good quality. The one thing I have noticed is that the colours of the photograph shown on screen do not always match prints, but I believe this is common. I found the menu hard to master ...
...it is easy to navigate. The flash is good and not too bright. Only downfall is that it is not bright enough if you want to take pictures afar in darker spaces. This camera is well worth the money if you are looking for an effective but simplistic piece of kit! The DSC-W150 can easily fit into the your pocket so you dont have to worry about storage issues! In my experience this is an excellent digital camera. The quality of the pictures is much better than the Sony brand that I was using previously. My pictures always seem to come out clear regardless of the amount of light available. I am quite fond of the large preview screen on the back.
