Advantages: Great functions, east to use, looks and feels good and produces great images. Disadvantages: The kit lens isnt the best and no live view may bother some.
...asking me to review the Sony A200 DSLR camera, this is because I have made mention of it in a few of my camera reviews lately but never actually got down to doing a full write up on it. I haven't reviewed it previously for a couple of reasons mainly though that I had up until now only had a few hours experience of the unit.
Now with a whole weeks shooting with it under my belt and over 1000 pictures taken with it I feel much more capable of writing ... ...them.
So onto the Sony A200 then, well Sony are very new to the DSLR market even though they have been making point and shoot cameras successfully for a long time. They entered the market with the A100 and have gone on to bring us the A200, A300, A350 and the more professional A700. The one I am reviewing today (the A200) took over pretty much from where the A100 left off but it has a much improved feel to it as well as better positioned controls ...

This camera, in my opinion, is the best one around of its size and specification. It is very stylish, very sleek with the shutter that pops down revealing the lens, and the black colour makes it a classic for both males and females, although the other colours look great as well.
This camera with its 8.1 mega pixels takes great photos, unless you are a professional photographer you really do not need more than this... in fact you do not even need ... ...good quality photos.
This camera is very easy to use (especially for the non-technical sort of people like myself). It's great looking and is the perfect size (it's small enough to fit into any handbag i own, yet being large enough that it feels sturdy unlike say the tiny Finepix which i have broken 3 of already...woops). I give this camera top marks in every field out of all the small digital cameras around. ...

Canon have released an excellent performing camera. This camera is nearly as good as the more expensive eos 40D.
The menu is incredibly easy to use even for a novice like me.
