X-E2, The Second of My Fuji 'X-Men'

Advantages: Build and picture quality. Interchangeable lenses whilst still compact.
Disadvantages: Lens selection limited to Fuji and Leica, although some manual adapters for other makes exist.

It was not an easy decision. I’ve owned a succession of Nikon D-SLRs for some years now, the latest incarnation being the excellent D7000 although I’d still be using the D90, had not my daughter dropped her D70 ‘hand-me-down-from-Dad’ just days before he ...

Nikon AW110 - A camera I can't break

Advantages: Robustness, Image quality, Editing options, Battery life.
Disadvantages: Slightly on the bulky/ heavy side for most cameras these days.

I recently bought this camera as I have lot of travelling coming up. As someone who is known for breaking everything she touches I needed something robust and this camera certainly delivered. The camera is waterproof to 18m, shockproof to 2m has GPS, wifi ...

State Of The Art, Hidden In A Retro Design

Advantages: As advanced or as simplistic as you want it to be
Disadvantages: Almost impossible to understand manual.

This girl's off film and onto digital

Advantages: Point and shoot ability combined with high technology
Disadvantages: Will I ever use all the settings?

Although not a serious photographer, buying a digital camera seemed to be right. I'd never taken to camcorders, and felt that my old 35mm camera needed replacing with something more up to date, and with enough features I wouldn't want / need to change ...

Olympus C5050 - a real prosumer digicam

Advantages: Good Auto, total manual control, F1.8 lens, Image quality
Disadvantages: Too big for my pocket! Shutter lag.

I use my 5050 for both snapshots & professional work. It has survived 8 months of travelling in a LowePro pouch attached to my motorbike jacket as I ride around London - so it's tough. Image quality is excellent - I have made A3+ prints on an Epson 1290 ...
