I have given it a good rating only for a few reasons - Its really fiddly trying to get the SD card in and out, and with the battery being in the same place, its the same for that too! This is a great compact camera, as I write in October 2008 it still has the best low light performance of any compact. Don't let the fact that it only has 6MP (low by today's standards) put you off. This truly is a great camera. Ideal for social situations when the lighting level is low. This camera was brought by my father from Japan. Actually we have two of these in the house. And it really is a joy to have two, as we can shoot and shoot. This camera is actually old by now.
