Not bad IF you can get it cheap & have time to get used to it! Advantages: Nice size and fairly stylish, good range of features, picture quality decent enough Disadvantages: The navigation, the DIY aspect of getting it set up, the picture quality could be a bit better ...one and I found this Kodak model on sale for £49.99 on Amazon, though it only cost me about £25 after I used my vouchers, which I thought was a steal of a price given it was a Kodak model that got alot of 5 star reviews on Amazon, I was confident I'd made the right decision. Picture this! Advantages: Great looking and very useful. Disadvantages: None. ...When I saw the Kodak Easyshare M820 online for under £40 I jumped at the chance and I am pretty sure I have gotten myself a very good bargain. It was priced at £79.99 most places and even higher in some but when I saw Amazon selling it for only £38.99 I could not believe my luck. This photo frame is so very easy to use and it has a built in digital audio player so you can add music to the mood when viewing the photos. It has a 8 inch TFT screen ... ...seen clearly from anywhere in the room. The colours seem very vibrant to me and they look almost as good as they do on my PC monitor. The Kodak Easyshare Digital Photo frame (M1020) is one of the newest inventions for people to be able to watch all their favourite photos, in a slideshow on a photo frame. This allows you to be able to look at your digital photos, without the need of a bulky computer. Also you are able to look over at the photo frame, and it will change again, and again, and again. However this particular model which I own, is now almost obselete ... ...really wanted to stay with Kodak Easyshare range as this was what software I used on my computer. Amazon was the best place to get it cheapest at £96.50 (at the time I bought it.) This one is one of the best Advantages: Good looking outside frame,easy to use, good features Disadvantages: limited onboard memory This is the third digital photo frame I've bought and by far the best. Very nice outer frame that shows of the photos at their best. The set up is childs play and pretty much self explanitary, the display options are pretty much like all other frames of the same price range with fades, mixes, and re-draws of several types. There is a full set of card readers but this model dose not have wireless connect, for me this was a plus, I feel the added bonus ... ...cost. The frame handles video clips and music backgrounds and has a good remote control which slips into a holder on the back. Screen resoluton is first class but the real key to showing off a good photo is to prepare it well first using photo shop or something like it. Get the size, colour and effects right before loading it onto your display card. I have mine showing a series of sunsets from Hawaii and the west Indies and its a joy to behold. Gift and memories-Sony style Advantages: Read the review Disadvantages: Price and price ...comfortable and immensely enjoyable. Sony DPF D80 is a high quality digital photo viewer albeit incapable of playing video or audio files which hardly becomes a loud disqualification. The best part is its ease of use and audacious image quality. It looks absolutely breathtaking in its glossy plastic giving it hi-tech look. The intelligent part of the gadget its design. Sony DPF D80’s display area seems wider than most because the bazel is smaller ... ...possible because even though the Sony DPF D80 has does make its total built in memory available for pictures. This is a possibility but my only contention is that a difference of 6MB in built in memory availability should hardly make any such difference, may some technological impadiments are there, applying same analogy to computers makes quite a difference in the performance in computers as far as the system disk is concerened.
