Review of Canon EOS 500D

Brilliant camera for the money well worth it very versatile

Advantages: large resolution, great photos, easy to use, great battery life, great fun!
Disadvantages: obviously its not a £2000 plus camera

Canon EOS 1000D, Beginners Bargain

Advantages: great range of features, good looking camera

The Canon EOS 1000D is an excellent entry level camera. I bought it in September 2008 for £384 with the 18-55mm lens and a £50 cashback from Canon themselves. The picture quality is excellent with a basic range of settings that are excellent for beginners to learn the ropes of photography.
