"A Dating programme"

Dinner Date

I found this programme when I was channel hopping one day. This Programme is on ITV and ITV 2 at the weekends.

The idea of the programme is that there is a man looking for a woman and to help him make that choice he has to choose 3 menus out of 5 that he likes the look of but he doesn’t know who wrote them until he goes on the date. So the women cook him a 3 course meal and their house over 3 days. The women then have to rate the man out of 3 stars depending on how the date goes. Throughout the date each of them gives their opinion on how the date is going. One I saw the other day the woman said before the guy arrived that if she didn’t like him she would move her mat further away from him I thought yeah right of course she will. During the date she was rushing the meal and then she actually slid across the table saying she wanted more space for her feet I just thought that was so rude.

At the end of the dates the man then chooses the woman that he wants to see again and takes them out for a meal to a restaurant. The other two get a takeaway delivered to them. At the end of the programme it tells you what they are doing a month on.

My Opinions

I think this programme is slightly different from what I have seen before as most dating shows they go away somewhere. This show involves cooking as well which could be good or bad depending on if the woman is a good cook. I really like this programme and definitely recommend this programme if you like dating programmes.

Apart from comedy, I have a strange affection for dating shows. New series of this one starts 20th June apparently!

More space for her feet? Sheesh. I would have left if I were her date I think. she could have all the space she wanted for her trotters. Rachael.
