    Every so often I get awful headaches. They are torture, feeling as though my head is being at once gripped in a vice and being kicked from the inside at the same time . Whilst generally paracetomol and other painkillers do work, they take some time to act, and when they wear off I'm usually reluctant to take more . Fairly recently, I was up at my mums when a headache started to make itself known .     In my never ending fight against the headaches I get I decided to try something new when I seen this advertised on TV. With a dislike of taking tablets this sounding perfect for me as no pills are involved so off to pharmacy I went to buy it. When I came across it I found it cost around £5 and looked really small. Once taken out of the packaging it resembles a lip balm but just a lot wider and bigger. It told me that it contained 3.6g of 100% levomenthol which is a natural numbing agent. Also like a lip balm the lid pops off to reveal a solid stick that you rub on to your head.I was directed ... more

    4Head Headache relief..... I have always been a fairly headachey person getting one or more headaches per week. I have always had no trouble in popping a few pills to stop the headache (you could probably hear me rattle sometimes!). However one day a few months back I was at work and my headache was so bad even after taking a couple of strong Paracetamol tablets I decided to pop into the chemist next door and pick up one of these.     Yesterday I had the ‘mother’ of all headaches. I don’t get them very often but after eating a substantial breakfast, lunch and dinner, I still had it last night. We didn’t have any paracetamol in the cupboard and my husband tried to convince me to take a co-codamol. The reason I didn’t is because I’m breast feeding and I wasn’t sure if it would affect Elijah because they are quite a lot stronger than paracetamol.
