Advantages: Quick, easy, painless. Everything is done for you.

More Than Just An Insurance Company!

Advantages: Huge Range Of Services, Value For Money, Great Service
Disadvantages: None At All

A Good Deal, Better, from Direct Line

Advantages: Easy to so business with, good premiums, stable underwriting

Don't rely too much on those comparison websites

Advantages: More competitive than comparison websites, staff at call centre when buying
Disadvantages: No courtesy car available with fully comprehensive package

You dont need a red phone to call DL

Advantages: Competitive, easy to deal with.
Disadvantages: None I can think of.

Advantages: Value for money, excellent cover and speedy, courteous service.

Advantages: Good if your training for hostage situations

rather large and very intimidating man turned up on my doorstep, I mean this guy looked like one of those big dodgy bouncers outside seedy nightclubs you would not want to meet him alone down a dark alley. He was apparently sent out by and on behalf of Direct Line PLC; he explained he was a consultant and that he was to go over some abnormalities in my claim. Ok I thought fair enough I mean my financial position was bad at the time this may have raised a few eyebrows of suspicion I could see it from their point of view and half expected to be asked a few hairy questions. insurance leaflet at the till. Tesco Travel Insurance is underwritten for Tesco Personal Finance Limited by Direct Line Insurance. I phoned customer services, which was based in Glasgow. The lady I spoke to was very friendly and courteous. She asked me for my date of birth and my wife’s age and the first line of my address. As I had previously asked for a motor insurance quote my details were already on the computer. She then asked what medical conditions me and my wife had. I also said that personal possessions were already insured by my Home Contents policy. I was quoted £102 and paid immediately by debit card. The whole process was very quick and easy.
