Advantages Great listen
Disadvantages Other passengers will wonder why you are laughing
This is one of Douglas Adam's lesser known novels but just as good as the more well known Hitchhiker's series. If you have ever lived through the interminable time between teatime and supper on a Sunday afternoon you will identify with this book and enjoy it's amusing view of life. The author gently peels back the skin to give us an alternative view of the meaning of life and makes us laugh in the process.
Audio books are always an enjoyable way to get to 'read' a book. Loaded onto your MP3 they are an enjoyable alternative to music for the ride to work. This one will get your fellow travellers wondering what you are chuckling at. Worth a listen if you already have read Hitchhikers.
