This is a really good and inexpensive organic cotton reusable nappy. This nappy comes in 3 different sizes to fit your baby as he/she grows and each size retails at around £6 so is very reasonable for a fitted nappy and as it is organic, you are safe in the knowledge that you are being as green as green can be!
The nappy is made from layers of soft organic unbleached cotton. The nappy fastens with Velcro tabs at the front for a nice snug fit. The tabs can be angled either up or down to fit different body shapes.
Good points An Ideal nappy for young babies This nappy is ideal for young babies, especially breast-fed babies because it is soft and gentle and offers brilliant poo containment. The leg cuffs are soft but offer very good poo containment, even for breast-fed baby poo, say no more! The cotton it is made from is so soft as is the elastic around the legs and waist.
For older babies this nappy does need a booster pad inserted inside, but you can use any booster available on the market. This may seem like a disadvantage, but really this makes the nappy very versatile. You can choose how absorbent you want the nappy to be by how much boosting you put inside. Whether you use disana flannelette squares for day and a thick terry square etc for nighttime, you will still have a quick drying and effective nappy system.

The best nappy covers This nappy works best with Velcro fastening nappy covers such as a popolini popo covers or mother-ease rikki covers. Alternatively disana make brilliant organic wool pull on pants. These are so lovely, soft and effective for any shape of baby. These need to be hand washed, but only every few weeks as they contain natural lanoline that neutralises urine.

Problems
This nappy can be used for young babies and older toddlers. However, if using for an active toddler, (especially one with chubby thighs) you may find that the Velcro rubs a bit on the inner thigh. A way to avoid this is to either not use this nappy if you have a chubby and active toddler, or use this nappy in conjunction with disana tie ons. This is a tie on nappy that can be put on over the top and tied up, to stop the Velcro coming loose and rubbing. This method will also stop your toddler undoing the Velcro.
The style of Velcro used requires this nappy to be washed while fastened and in side out. This nappy can be dried on the line or radiator, but does not with stand regular tumble drying.
Conclusion This is a brilliant, soft, fast drying, effective and versatile nappy, especially for young babies before they start to crawl or walk.
Advantages: trim fit, organic, quick drying, well made, excellent value Disadvantages: need boosting, no fold back tabs.
...wraps (recommended by Schmidt) and Disana make several types of their own wool wraps, but I preferred fleece or PUL wraps, and used various types without leaks or difficulty. Motherease Rikki wraps, and Motherease Airflow wraps were my main choices, these can be bought from most online nappy suppliers, do a google search on 'cloth nappy' ...

Advantages: really do fit birth to potty, organic and cheap! Disadvantages: learning how to put them on takes practise
Fantastic! I don't use anything else.... I have been using these nappies since my son was 6 weeks old. We never have leaks or spills! They look nice and slim on even as a toddler.
If you are on a budget then these are for you, the most expensive ones i have found are £1.60 each! Okay so you then need wool wraps (2 of each size at about £8/£10, but do have a very good resell value). You do also need boosters, but if it is absorbant then you can put ... ...them, as well as home made boosters, and muslins
Don't be put of by the fact they need tieing, as once you have done one you will find it as quick and easy as any other nappy.
These nappies get my vote every time
Washing instructions - couldn't be easier !
I store used nappies using a "dry pail" system, so they all go into a large bucket with a sealble lid. No water is added, as who wants smelly water hanging around! All solid waste goes down ...
