I bought 24 of these nappies with the flannelette square boosters in the size 2 size for my 6 month old son, and when I first got them I was dubious.

They looked a bit thin, and I wasnt convinced they would work. But I liked the fact tht they were made with organic cotton so gave them a try. They fluffed up beautifully in the wash, like prefolds, they become almost 'padded' in appearance.

Boosted with the flannelette 'hush cloth' they had no trouble going overnight on my heavy wetting son, and the velcro fastenings worked well and seemed well sewn on. I had to remember to fasten the nappy before washing as there arent fold back laundry tabs, but I learnt quickly to remember.

I found these nappies excellent value for money, at £6 each they were several pounds cheaper than the mainstream motherease/tots bots type nappies available, and I found the performance as good, if not better, without the added bulk of the totsbots.
An added advantage is that Schmidt, the UK supplier I bought from, provides an instalment method of paying for your nappies, to spread the cost.

These can be covered with wool wraps (recommended by Schmidt) and Disana make several types of their own wool wraps, but I preferred fleece or PUL wraps, and used various types without leaks or difficulty. Motherease Rikki wraps, and Motherease Airflow wraps were my main choices, these can be bought from most online nappy suppliers, do a google search on 'cloth nappy'
