I loved crisps, could eat them all day long; but I'll assure you I don't. These particular crisps are very nice indeed and exceptionally crunchy. These crisps have a lot of flavour and are a very... more

Once upon a time there used to be things called discos. Everybody used to love them and then one day everybody seemed to forget all about them. I am, of course, talking about the crunchy potato snacks and not the nightspots. I’ve decided to write this review, not only because I am bored but, to try and tempt a few of you to try them again. My discos came in a 6 bag multi-pack, containing the flavours salt and vinegar, cheese and onion and pickled onion. So far, so good. I am a fan of all three flavours. Like other similar products, each flavour has its very own colour - salt and vinegar has ... more

Disadvantages Disadvantages A bit of a light weight snack

First of all, I wish to apologise profusely for the very poor title. It seems to be a prerequisite on Ciao that you have to come up with a smart one and the only other one I could think of was "Feels like I've been...." which is a bit too much of a vague Shed 7 reference. Anyway apologies again and on with the review. Disco's are a range of potato snacks which are available from all good newsagents and retailers in Cheese and Onion, Salt and Vinegar and Pickled Onion flavours. (Although I do have vague childhood memories of Beef flavour! I would be interested if any of you out there remember ... more

I simply love Disco’s and its one of the types of crisps that I have continued to buy over the years since I was very young. I can’t remember when they first hit the shops but I do remember buying them when I was very young. They are different from normal crisps mostly because according to the packaging they are made from wheat. They are thicker than normal potato crisps and they are mostly round in shape. The texture is a bit rough but the best thing I like about them is that the flavour really sticks to them and although they don’t have a huge range of flavours what they have is a really ... more

Disco's - now these bring back memories of my time of being real little. The times when I would beg to get anything I wanted - and I always did! But This time I begged for something I wished I hadn't! Disco's are an extremely simple crisp. They are extremely dry crisps made from dried potato. They come in a variety of flavours - cheese and onion, salt and vinegar, pickled onion. They are very good flavours usually, but in this instance I feel let down. This is because the flavours are not too overbearing, but the crisps themselves let the package down. They are far too dry and cause your mouth ... more

I was looking for something different to get in the way of crisp's this Monday on my weekly visit to Tesco's. I usually get the ones that are on special offer but there wasn't any bargains on this week. Price and Packaging ---------------------------- This bag jumped out as an old familiar face sometimes does. I recognised the Disco logo and was happy to see a 6 bags free plastered across the front. Which meant there was 12 bags for a mere £1.18! There are 3 flavours in this multi pack and they are Groovy Cheese & Onion, Salt & Vinegar Fever and Boogie Down Beef. They all have the same design ... more
