D-I-S-C-O! I love the disco.... 5 of 5 Ciao Users found the following review helpful

Advantages Great taste, lots of flavour, quite a few in each bag, cheap.

Disadvantages High in fat :(

Discos are round shapes made out of dried potato and covered with quite a heaving coating of flavouring.

Each bag from the 9 pack multipack is 28g in weight and contains a good 30 or so discs.

The crisps are provided in a foil fresh bag and are coloured in correspondence to the flavour (brown - beef, blue - salt and vinegar, green - cheese & onion etc). Upon opening the bag the crisps have indeed been kept lovely and fresh and you can feel the coating on the crisps as soon as you pick one up.

The crisps are very fresh and crunchy and have quite an overpowering layer of flavouring. I personally like this but quite a few people that I know, as well as my young nieces and nephews, are not fans of this at all. I love my crisps to be very strong and my favourite flavour is the cheese and onion as these are very cheesy indeed! Be warned that you will be left with bad breath afterwards though!

Each bag contains around 150 calories and an average of 8g of fat so these are definitely to be enjoyed in moderation although quite often I struggle with this as I want to eat one of each flavour out of my multipack!

I purchased 6 bags with 3 extra free from Poundland for £1.00 and the packaging was mainly what drew my attention to these crisps.

They have a fairly long sell by date of 2-3 months but I find that crisps are lucky to last 2-3 days in my possession as I'm a crisp-a-holic!

I would definitely recommend these crisps if you want your crisps to have strong flavouring but avoid if you want a milder taste. I am therefore rating these crisps 5/5 as they are just perfect for a fan of the stronger taste, such as myself!

It's ages since I saw a bag of these anywhere! I know what you mean about the "powdery" coating - just reading that reminds me of the texture of Discos.
