This Disgo camcorder is a great little gadget. I saw this camcorder on the TV program 'Something for the Weekend' on BBC1. They described it a fun, cheap and easy to use camcorder.
I have since brought one for myself. I have to say it's defiantly fun, cheap and easy to use!
The camcorder has 60 minutes of recording time, runs on two AA batteries and has its own USB connecter integrated, this connects to any laptop or PC via the USB socket. The camcorder is approximately 15 centimetres tall and 4centimeters wide. Simple buttons and on screen prompts make it simple to use even for technophobes. I brought my Creative Live! Cam Video IM Pro last year (2006) around about the Easter period as I had been using the MSN messenger service for quite a while and a lot of my friends and family had them and so I thought that it was about time I got one too.
Price
I first brought my Creative Live! Cam Video IM Pro at a PC world in Canterbury, it cost me about £30, however this was quite a while ago and I have looked around and on the internet I have found the same webcam for around about £20 so do your home work first.

The Creative Live! Cam Video IM Pro can take photos at an incredible 1.3 mega pixels which is one of the highest quality still picture capture for webcams and you'll be hard pressed to find better.

All you do is plug your disgo into the USB port of any computer - no cables or power supply are needed because disgo takes its power directly from the USB port.
First thing ya gotta do, is log on to www.mydisgo.com to register the product and download a few things. For example: I had to download the Keysafe feature* and, if you're using certain operating systems, such as Windows 98, you need to download a driver. I'm on XP so I didn't need to download one - the same is true for windows 2000 and ME. I think Mac users have to download some stuff too.
From then on it's a simple matter of following the instructions - there are certain procedures to be followed when removing the device, but it's simplicity itself. Really ...
