We were looking for a dishwasher to match our current kitchen appliances, eg the same colour and we have had an excellent experience with Hotpoint, so that favoured us to purchase this one. ...are exactly the same colour, there are so many grey/silver appliances out there which are completely different shades! The display is excellent as it is a digital display with clear instrucions and diagrams on, it is also illuminated which is handy and very trendy looking! The top basket is adjustable on this model, so if we have taller trays or anything we can change the top basket to the higher position! It is suprising just how mush we can fit ... Read review

Disadvantages: Unrelilable, awful customer services from Hotpoint

...called Comet who said because Hotpoint had replaced a part it was their responsbibility, so I called Hotpoint who said it was down to Comet. I've just spent over an hour trying to get them to decide who's problem it is, being bouced backwards and forwards between the two companies. My extended warranty is worthless, and I now have a piece of scrap metal in my kitchen with nobody taking responsibility for it. I've asked for Hotpoint to call me back ...

Advantages: Quiet
Disadvantages: only top drawer half load wash

This is the first dishwasher that I have owned and so as a novice to the functionality of a dishwasher I find this one easy to use and does the job. It has a half load option that just washes the top drawer (usually cups and glasses), although after using it for a few weeks now I would rather a half load just washed the bottom drawer as I tend to run out of plates and pans before cups, but that's something to remember for the next machine I buy (i ...

...little awkward or restrictive. My Hotpoint machine certainly does not have this problem. As far as maintenance of the machine goes, Hotpoint have made this reasonably easy. The dishwasher salt container has got a simple indicator devise that tells you instantly. without having to climb inside the machine, when it needs topping up. The hotpoint washer also runs very quite. you wouldn't even no it was there.I found the easy touch digital buttons an advantage, and also finishes the machine of with that modern look. Also just thought i'd add this as i never had a dish washer before this one. i still thought you had to add seperate rinse aid .. salt .. tablets. But you don't.
