This is by far the best dishwasher I've ever owned or used. It is expensive but it is so well designed I think it is worth the money.
It was very well packaged when it arrived and was therefore in complete unblemished factory condition. Installation went quite smoothly, although I had to redisign my kitchen slightly to give it enough depth to install in, as it really does go all the way back to the wall, and there was a pipe in the way. From the ... ...the height of the feet at the back, a very nice touch. The water inlet pipe has a fairly large block at the end which connects to the tap, which may cause problems for you depending on how easy it is to access your water connection. The block contains the inlet valve, which means that if the hose ever gets damaged it won't cause a leak, because the valve would still be closed.
The machine is very tactile in use, the door clicks open almost effortlessly ...
Advantages: Very easy to use, Cleaning is very simple, Intense wash is good. Disadvantages: Can be unsafe for multiple reasons, Colder washes are poor.

Performance/Quality The Beko DWD4310 has 4 wash settings, a prewash designed to pre rinse heavily soiled items, a rapid cycle that is designed to wash plates which are lightly soiled, an economy setting which washes at a relatively hot temperature and the intensive wash which is designed for heavily soiled pans and plates. Indeed, these work well, though the rapid wash and economy wash can regularly leave dirty marks on even relatively clean ... ...as a precaution which I should not really have to do. There are two sections, a roll out section for plates which has a divided compartment for cutlery and a top section for cups and dishes. However a problem does occur following an economy or intensive wash. When finished I found that plates, cups and glasses were still too hot to handle even an hour after the cycle is fully complete. ...and found out that this hotpoint was the cheapest and the best - I then went to my local Ken White's and found one for £289 which was much cheaper than the cheapest I found on line
into the boot of the car it was put and it was then instalation time! the install info didn't make any sence as it seemed to want you to put a big piece of paper on the top of the machine and screw something to it, not that there was anything to screw in - after a bit ... ...the install was easy but my OH had to do it as despite being a lady who is more than capabile of doing this type of thing the machine is heavy so hired muscle maybe required ;-)
The machine is easy to use, it only had 4 settings and we stick to the same setting each time, it has a warning light to tell you when the salt needs filling up which is good. The dispencer for the dishwasher tab is big enough to take all different brands, some need a bit ...
Advantages: Double drawer, independent operating untis in one applicance. Removeable trays - easy to clean. Disadvantages: Needed replacement parts within the first two years of is life which I had to pay for.
I have had my Fisher & Paykel dishwasher for seven years and overall I'm happy with it. I had a couple of teething problems in the first two years with seals needing to be replaced and one of the motors which I think is a little poor on the part of the manufacturers particularly charging for replaement parts for a machine that clearly hadn't had massive use ( I do not have a family or throw thrice weekely dinner parties!).
The product in itself ... ...units are very handy. It has aged well and I'm hoping that it will not give me any further issues in at least the next 3-4 years as the price one pays should guarantee a reasonable lifespan. If it does give me any probelsm it will likely be relaced by a Miele - depending on the level of support offered by the manufacturers/UK maintentance team. ...

...very very well, i know hotpoint do have a bad name but this machine does the business
word of warning mind u if u see the drying light on and go to stop it and unload dont!! the machine is clever it lets the water sit in the machine for ten min after the last rinse has stopped to let the heat build up to dry the machine is something else u wont be let down ...
