My seven year old daughter had been begging me from the age of 2 to take her to "mickey's house" Disney and at last my husband and I relented and made the journey along with her 3 year old brother. Sorry to say we were highly disappointed with the whole affair. Just one big money spinning operation for Disney with shops and food stalls crammed into every available spot.
Where were the Disney characters they were so dying to meet? Hidden in obscure corners with long waiting lines to have photos. By the time we located them they had packed up at 4:00 to get ready for the parade which wasn't until 7:00! Surely Disney could afford to pay some more people to dress up in the costumes and parade around the thousands of little children who are desperate to see them. There should be a dozen Mickeys, Minnies, Donalds etc dotted all around the park to satisfy the hordes of kids, not one with a mile long waiting line. Disgusting. They did however have a little train that came along every so often with some characters waving to the crowds but who is interested in Pinocchio's Dad and Tweedle-Dum and Tweedlie-Dee??? D-list characters only I'm afraid.
The rides looked great if you could get anywhere near them and didn't mind standing in yet another queue for an hour or so for a 2 minute ride. Managed 3 then my 3 year old son had had enough of the waiting so we gave up. We didn't even make it until the parade a 7:00 and we were Disneyed-out and ready for home by 5:00.
It all looks very nice and the engineering is amazing but apart from that, not impressed I'm afraid and won't be rushing back.

The thing to do is to go to all the areas straight away and get the fast passes then by the time you've got the last one then the first one will be ready, if not go to see the show in the space area the lion king one is very good and very interactive. If you don't plan the day you could spend the whole day waiting in line.
