Cognitive Behavioural Therapy - Excellent Course and great value
This was an excellent course, with good structure and great content. Presented with a quiet yet humble authority, for the novice it would be of great use, for the more established practitioner it would help them both deepen and broaden their knowledge base. The course itself has a good blend of case studies, legislation and theory to help anyone wanting to begin a career in Counselling. In addition it usefully dispels a few myths that have grown up around the therapy industry regarding accreditation and modalities. Therapy is unregulated there are contending bodies who are vying to occupy the space akin to that occupied by the BMA, this it is to be hoped is wishful thinking on their part. National Occupational Standards will form the basis of future regulation and for the understanding of that alone this course is exceptional value to me and it it to be hoped to others.
