Have a look Inside my world!

Advantages: informative, interesting, attractive
Disadvantages: pricey RRP

', 'Christmas 2006 and beyond', 'Afterword', and 'Index'. When I first saw this, I just knew I was going to be in for an interesting and informative read. The foreword itself is incredibly interesting. Written by David Tennant, it is a delight to read as he shares both information and passion about the show. 'An Adventure in Time and Space' follows this ? three pages about the show, a bit about its past and an explanation about what you will find inside the book. Basically, it is the contents page expanded. Then we come to Bringing Back the Series. This is twenty seven pages about the planning of the return of the show, Russel T. Davies' hopes for the new series, and the selection process for choosing the team. Following on from this, we come to 'Casting'. I feel Doctor Who has had some of the most wonderful actors over the past few years, and this ...

Review of Doctor Who - The Inside Story: The Official Guide to Series 1 and 2 - Gary Russell

Doctor Who?

Advantages: High quality detailed figure.
Disadvantages: Will never come out of the packaging.... ever!

With the regeneration and revival of the legendary Doctor Who TV series in 2005, it was strikingly obvious that a modern merchandising campaign was going to be rolled out as soon as the first episode had finished airing as new generation of fans of had effectively been captured. In my mind Season 1 starring Christopher Eccleston as the Time Travelling Doctor gave us some good episodes to further the legacy of the Doctor. In the=is Season there were a number of two part stories, the second two-parter of the Season was called 'The Empty Child' and 'The Doctor Dances' and this story, split across two episodes introduced us to Captain Jack Harkness for the first time. It was quite a frightening story with a lone child in a gasmask roaming war torn London looking for his Mummy, come Monday morning it was an episode that was still fresh in ...

Review of Character Options Doctor Who Doctor Constantine Figure

Doctor Who hits back with a bang!

Advantages: Great rebirth of the doctor
Disadvantages: None really

plummeted. There was a TV movie starring Paul McGann in 1996, which I vaguely remember, and then a 9 year gap before Russell T Davies revamped the doctor as Christopher Eccleston. The show has been immensely popular and is still going strong, with David Tennant now playing the Time Lord and soon to be replaced with Mat Smith. The DVD series The first DVD features the first 3 episodes of what is called Series 1. Although it's not the first series ever, it is the first of the more modern series, and so it is thus called. Episode 1 - Rose The first episode of the new series naturally has a bit of explaining to do after such a long time away from the screen. Although there was a film in 1996, no episodes had been made since 1989, meaning a 16 year gap and a whole new generation of Doctor Who fans to impress. We are introduced in this ...
