Doctor Who has been on and off our screens for many years now, and the amazing sci-fi family show returned in 2005 with Chris Eccleston as our nineth Doctor. We then had David Tennant taking us through three more series as the tenth Doctor. On the way, we met many of his companions.
The Doctor's second companion was Martha Jones, from Series 3. He met Martha when the hospital she worked at as a trainee was taken away to the moon by upside down rain (Smith and Jones, series 3 - amazing episode!).
The BBC have produced, alongside Character Options, a range of figures of different sizes. One of their newest options is the Micro Universe figures. These are about 1 inch in height and stand on a little black hexagonal base. They come in packs of either three or seven, and unfortunately you can only see one, or three or the ones you are buying so it's usually just pot luck!
One of these figures is Martha Jones, played by actress Freema Agyeman. The little figure is clearly Martha, though you cannot tel by facial features as the face is blanked (as if attacked by the Wire!). Her little red leather jacket is the perfect shade, and she stands as if Martha would do too. Her black spikey hair sits perfectly too. She is in quite a funny pose, with one arm stretched out and pointing. Never have I seen Martha do this, but nevermind!
The figure is made from a soft rubbery plastic, making it quite delicate. It is very easy to bend, and you have to be extra careful that you do not break her off her stand. Though you should be fine!
I was lucky enough to actually find Martha in my first pack, along with a Cyberman and a Sycorax. Since then I have actually had a total of three Marthas, so it is fair to say that shes not really that rare! However, if you are struggling to find her in any of you packs, then you should be able to pick one up from eBay at a small price!
These figures cost £5 per three which may seem alrght but in the long run the money does add up as you edge to te end of your collection and splash out to find that one special final figure. They are perfect for any fan or collector of the show, but not for young children as they are small and they could choke, not to mention poke somebody's eye out with Martha's long pointing hand!

Character Options. After arriving in depression-era New York, Dalek Sec and the rest of the Cult of Skaro set about combining Dalek and human DNA, attempting to create a new race of Daleks that could never be defeated. As a test subject, Sec himself absorbed the human Mr Diagoras, which provided him with a new, fully mobile body, meaning he could live outside his protective casing. However, the other members of the Cult became distrustful of their leaderāTMs new amalgamated form and their plans rapidly went awry...
