Doctor Who: The Stealers of Dreams. ===========================
The travelling trio arrive in the not so far future and find that Fiction has been outlawed. In fact anything that makes the mind think too much or adds to mans desires and fantasies is against the law, the penalty being death. Who can be controlling society with such an iron grip and more importantly why?
The Doctor, Rose and Jack arrive and soon are in touch with the resistance but are the resistance right to challenge this oppressive regime or should things be left alone, things it seems are not as straight forward as you may think. Here and now in this time, Dreams really can kill you! Thinking too much can be detrimental to your health. A problem if you're the Doctor!
The good guys soon become he bad guys and the bad guys soon become extinct. And in the middle of it all is the three friends trying to solve this crazed conundrum.
The bogyman really can come after you, sometimes.
Similar to other Dr Who books that I have read this one is a plain and simple adventure, no revelations and nothing new added to the Doctor Who legacy. The writing is clear and crisp and the plot moves along t a brisk pace. This is a decent read but you will forget it not long after putting it down.
Recommended to be read once but only if you're a fan.
