Acai supplements have been becoming the fad diet. The question I think everyone is asking is why all of a sudden is it becoming so commercialized. Acai has been around for longer than we could imagine but have been recently discovered to do many things such as; helping skin, weight loss, energy, and helping with joint muscles. It sounds like the dream pill anyone would want to try, however spending a ton of money on products like this I find to be a waste of money. I have tried "Best Acai" and yes it is a healthy way to get energy instead of drinking an energy drink, but you can go to a grocery store and pick up pomegranites and blueberries, which have the highest amount of antioxidants and make a smoothie everyday. You are getting the same amount of servings you would with one of these pills but at a lower cost to you. If you have the money to spend on the pills then I think that it's a great way to get your antioxidants and it does work if you go about it the right way. I have spent money on diet pill after diet pill and never seem to see results, but when I started using Acai supplements and working out more I did feel a sense of more energy and a better well being all around. I did start to excersise more and eat healthier along the way.
