Puppies Praise Denta Stix!
Advantages: Delicious and easy to chew...leaves no mess. Disadvantages: No fluoride.
...dog, or in large bags that contain up to 25 pieces. Their price is reasonable and Pedigree is well known as a dependable company for pet food and supplies. I would not hesitate to buy this product again. My puppy gives Pedigree Denta Stix two paws up!! ...

Denta Rask
Advantages: good for teeth Disadvantages: looked very bland
Pedigree Denta Rasks come in a bright yellow and blue packet with a picture of a dog and the product on the front. They are available in a variety of different sizes.
I brought these treats for my two dogs, a Golden Retriever and West Highland Terrier, as they both have poor teeth and the packet described the treats as having a ''deep cleaning action which specially targets the back teeth where plaque and tartar tends to develop''. Large and small ... ...for both of my dogs just because they were on special offer at the supermarket.
Neither of the dogs seemed that intrested in them, they sniffed them and walked away. I expected this from the Westie who is very fussy when it comes to new treats but was very surprised about the Goldie who normally wolfs everything down without a second thought. However in the end, both dogs did eat the treats. But when I gave them another one a couple of days later, ...

Doggylicious!!
Advantages: Good texture, interesting shapes, dogs love them Disadvantages: Too much packaging, unsure of quality of ingredients
...of these are made by Bakers which is part of the Purina company. I like having different treats to give to the dogs, so they don’t get bored. A pack of Rewards costs me £1.89 for a 126g, while the Allsorts cost me £1.79 for 140g. I find the Allsorts last longer, as there are more of them and smaller, so they seem better value to me than the Rewards.
The Allsorts come in a bright blue bag, which is colourful and eye-catching, with its strong primary ... ...here are the ingredients of Bakers Allsorts –
Cereals, meat and animal derivatives, vegetable protein extracts, various sugars, oils and fats, minerals, derivatives of vegetable origin. With antioxidants, coloured with and preserved with EC additives.
The packet gives a maximum daily intake, depending on the size of your dog. They suggest no more than seven treats a day for small dogs, eleven for medium-sized dogs and thirteen for large breeds. ...

The way to a happy dog
Advantages: Good value and dogs love them Disadvantages: You need to like the smell of eucalyptus
...next time I was in Tesco so that I could try them out on my puppy.
What are they?
They are little bone shaped biscuits which are about three inches long and which are flavoured with Eucalyptus and Parsley. According to the packet they also contain natural oils for healthy skin and coat. They come in a fairly plain box which is white with a picture of a sad dog on the front and there is no real indication on the packet how big the biscuits are ... ...a big dog but if, like me, you have a small dog then it haleps if you have an idea how big they are.
Now eucalyptus and parsley seems a strange combination in a biscuit to me and you can smell the eucalyptus when you open the packet but little Ellery has no preconceived ideas about flavour combinations so it didn't worry him a jot what I thought - he relies on whether it tastes good.
Suffice it to say that the first biscuit was demolished pretty ...

For a happy walk!
Advantages: see review Disadvantages: see review
...spotted a plastic container of Bakers happy walks on sale. As they were on offer for under £1 I decided to buy a box. Bakers happy walks come in a white plastic flip top container. They are the perfect size to fit in a pocket. On pulling back the foil seal I was struck by the very strong smell! It wasn’t unpleasant just a very powerful meaty smell, the kind my dog loves! Each treat looks like a very small roll about the size of a cigarette stub. ... ...information on the box says that the treats are made with 85% meat of which a minimum is 14% chicken. The treats also contain cereal and various vegetables. Unfortunately they also contain colours and preservatives. My dog is very fond of these small treats and it does persuade him to come back when he is called- well most of the time anyway! He is a big dog and the information of the pack suggests he can have up to 10 pieces per day of these treats. ...
