Advantages: The best grooming tool I have ever used Disadvantages: Can be pricey
I own both a Siberian Husky and a small, hairy being of not fixed breeding! , in Spain where the weather gets very hot and your dogs would much rather "shed in the shade" - or, all over the carpet.
Anybody who has a husky will know they have double coats, a darker upper coat with a downy underlayer which for two years until I found this grooming tool was a nightmare, I used every brush and comb available, plus some horse tools which I thought worth ... ...constantly as if the moths had been at him, except in November when there was a short pause. Cleaning the house was a nightmare and I never seemed to get rid of all the fluff from his undercoat.
Then I discovered the Furminator ! It was fantastic, the terrace looked as if it had been coated in snow as all the undercoat came out so easily and within a few days he looked fit for crutts ! (I could have made a duvet if I had collected it all). I then ...
Advantages: no mess, easy to use tube Disadvantages: can be pricy
...I also use the frontline for cats as at one point we used a cheap brand and the cats ended up having fleas which is bad news in your home and the dogs caught them as well. I use both versions of the product and havehad flea free animals for well over three years now. I find it very easy to use as one application is needed for each pet and there is not messing around and more importantly no mess! The pets never notice that I have actually put it one ...
this is a fantastic product. i found a few fleas on my cat and went into a frenzy about it, i was reccomended this product in a local pet store, at first i thought this spray would not do the job but i was pleasently suprised. The cost can be between £3 and £5 all according to how large your dog is and how many treatments you want to give him. Dont worry if you dont know how much your dog weighs they do say for small, medium or large size dogs and give you examples which makes it very easy to choose what size you need. ... ...does. I put Bob Martin Spot on as a suggestion a little while ago and as you see I am now doing a dooyoo on it. But, sadly between my suggesting it and it getting on my dog has passed away. He was 17 years old and went in his sleep but I miss him so much but decided to still write this. Thank you for reading x Summary: use before they get fleas and you will feel happy and so will your dog
also on dooyoo ...
Advantages: it works and has a positive health benefit Disadvantages: expensive to begin with but then gets cheaper
...so happy when I found Angels Delight- it worked as well but is actually good for your dog as well.
Just use a teaspoon a day for the first couple of weeks (- after a month or so you will see that there are no more new stains- before long your dog will be tear stain free (it also works on red socks and red beards- infact any part of the coat that your dog licks).
It is quite expensive when you start to use it but the price drops off in time.
