Toothpaste eating competition

Disadvantages: It just don't work

I tried this finger toothbrush with my labrador, and I wouldn't recommend it at all. The theory is good in that you put the thing on your finger and shove your finger in your dogs mouth (well I suppose that bit depends on the dog...). Anyway, you go have a great deal of control over which areas you tackle. How can you tell

Advantages: It is supposed to prolong the life of the teeth
Disadvantages: No visable signs of improvement

I bought my dog some toothpaste because his breath was a little smelly. I had tried a few chews that were supposed to be menthal but he turned his nose up at them. I imagined the dog toothpaste to work like human, so when his breath was not much better after I spent 15 minutes with him in a head lock I wondered if it was worth the hassle.
