Advantages: price, tasty Disadvantages: goes tacky when damp
I like to give my dog different biscuits and treats so that he doesn't get bored with the any of them. So when I came across these Gravy Bones in the supermarket I decided to try him with them. As a result he absolutely adored them and kept wanting more. Previously I used to buy these for a friends dog but was only able to buy these loose from a pet shop 10 miles away. Her dog also loved them and she never brought any other brand. The biscuits ......These are ideal for small dogs as they can eat them easily. However my dog is rather large and has a floppy mouth so he sometimes gets them stuck to the roof and sides of his mouth. This doesn't seem to put him off them though. The biscuits seem to go tacky when they get damp or wet this caused by the shiny coating so they need to be kept in an airtight container. They are very good value for money and are under a pound and in the 5 years I've ... Read review

...dogs and am always on the lookout for any new treats for them to try. While shopping at my local Jolleyes pet store, I came across the Pet Bakery range. About Pet Bakery Pet Bakery was sell homemade and handmade dog treats and the company was formed in 2004 with the intention of providing pet owners with a treat that is 100% natural. Pet Bakery products contain no artificial colours, flavours or preservatives, no e numbers and no meat -by-products. ......I have to admit that the treats inside do look very appetising and the product itself is very well presented with 6 biscuits inside, laid out in two rows of three. To be honest, if you didn't know that these were dog biscuits, they would easily pass for a posh gift set of biscuits for humans. The label on the front of the packaging gives the name of the product, in this case, Chicken Bones although there are other varieties available. Price I paid ... Read review
Advantages: Dog loves 'em Disadvantages: Runny yellow poo
I bought these for my dog after seeing the marketting which claimed that they were excellent for dog's teeth and therefore help with pongy breath. My dog loves them. Unfortunately, she chomps them straight down, they hardly touch the sides and there is definately no benefit to her teeth. As a consequence, they also do nothing for her breath. I suppose some people might choose to use them as training treats anyway, but they also have quite a strong ... Read review

...experience with this product. Rawhide comes in so many forms, from balls to shoes and sticks to flats, it has various flavours to make it even more tempting as well. Sometimes they are even dyed to look more appealing. This product can be good when used for the correct purpose, CHEWING. Dental Benefits for dogs using rawhide chews can help prevent Infections, kidney and heart disease as these can result when poor dental health gives bacteria an ......cause of tooth loss. As rawhide is chewed and moistened, it wraps around the teeth and rubs off plaque and calculi. Rawhide is not a food, but a "chewable toy" that many dogs swallow. It is high in protein and low in fat, but can cause throat obstructions or stomach problems. Some dogs bite off parts of the chew and these get lodged in their throats or sometime through their digestive tract. To allow dogs to chew on these treats is great but once ... Read review

My dogs, a Golden Retriever and Westie, are very fussy when it comes to their dog biscuits! Their usual brand, Winalot Shapes is often sold out at the shop, so I have a to find an alternative I think they will actually eat...sounds easy? Well its not! They'd never had Bonio before but after an initial sulking period after discovering they didn't get Winalot Shapes again, they both ate their biscuits. Alfie, the fussy little Westie, kept 'asking' ......got the Alfie seal of approval! Shadow, the Retriever loved them too (no surprises there..he'll eat most things). Bonio are available in mini and regular sizes and in boxes of 650g (£1.34) and 1.2kg (£2.34), and singles of 'The Big Bonio' which is a 110g Bonio biscuit is available for 49p. The box is red with a basset hound dog on the front and the Bonio logo. They reduce plaque and tartar and make teeth clean, strong and white (if fed on a regular ... Read review
