Review of Zapf My Little Baby Born I Can Swim

Megan's first doll

Advantages: Classic baby doll, nice outfit, cute
Disadvantages: none

I was looking for a baby doll for my daughter's first christmas. She's almost one so I needed to find one that was safe for little hands and mouths. Not as easy a job as you might think! There are lots of fabric dolls around with stitched eyes, but none have the appeal of the classic baby doll with a plastic face and hands. Baby Born do a wide range of dolls, but again, its difficult to find one that isn't for ages 3 and above. So I was quite pleased ...
...under 10 pounds. Its suitable for ages 1plus too. I didn't have to compromise at all with this baby doll. She has a plastic face, hands and feet. Quite a cute little face as well. She has open eyes which don't close, so no danger with eyelashes etc. Her body is soft and the box says you can even take her in the bath, although I think it would take quite a while to dry back out again, so I don't think we'll be trying that! She comes dressed in a ...

good doll for toddler

Advantages: realistic
Disadvantages: too many batteries

I bought this for my daughters second birthday as she seemed to be getting into dolls ect, and she just had a ne brother to grow used to. Its RRP is around 40 pounds but in sales it can be found for about half that. It is a really clever doll in my opinion, when you turn it on it babbles and gurggles and has a sound recognition thing it in so it turns its head in the direction of where someone is talking... although sometimes ive found this a little ...
...be filled with water which annabell drinks and falls asleep to and burps. When she is in sleep mode if a loud sound is made she wakes and crys real tears. The only disadvantage ive found is the amount of batteries she eats! taking 4 at a time she goes through them like a digital camera. ...

mold in your doll

Advantages: great for older children
Disadvantages: not for under 5 years old

Baby born was my daughters choice for her birthday last year so i brought it from the argos for £39.99. This doll is absolutley brilliant, it doesnt require any batteries, it eats, sleeps, sucks a dummy and bottle, wets it self and does all sorts of other weird and wonderful things. My daughter loves this doll and treats it like her own real baby, they go every where together. The doll comes with lots of accessories and there are lots more you ...
...doll for a yound child as you have real food you mix up for it to eat which isnt actually fit for human consumption so you need to closely watch your child wholst they are feeding there doll and you also need to wash the doll out after as the food will go moldy if you dont . This doll is great and well worth the money but i wouldnt recomend allowing a yound child to feed theres, i would put the food away for when they are older. ...
