DESIGNER SAID SEVEN TO TEN DAYS FOR THE COMPLETE INSTALLATION AND MADE NO MENTION OF THE FACT THAT THE INSTALLER WAS SUBCONTRACTED. HE OFFERED TWO METHODS OF PAYMENT.... FULL MOUNT UP FRONT OR INSTALLMENTS WHICH WOULD RESULT IN A SAVING OF £350. THEY HAVE YOU OVER A BARRELL BOTH WAYS AS WHEN YOU HAVE PROBLEMS YOU ARE STUCK.
OUR JOB TOOK 23 DAYS TO COMPLETE WHICH INCLUDE 10 DAYS OF HAVING TO CARRY BUCKETS OF WATER UP AND DOWN STAIRS TO FLUSH THE TOILET.HOWEVER WHEN WE COMPLAINED ABOUT THREE FAULTS THE AREA MANAGER ARRIVED AND FOUND A FURTHER 5,BUT THEY HAD ALREADY ISSUED US WITH A GUARANTEE ON THE ORIGINAL INSTALLERS WORK WITHOUT EXAMINING IT.
THEN THE HOT WATER PIPE WHICH WAS WRONGLY FITTED AND SUPPORTED BY A SMALL PIECE OF WOOD RESTING ON PLASTERBOARD GAVE WAY AND AS A RESULT THE ENSUING FLOOD MEANT THAT WE HAD TO HAVE OUR KITCHEN CEILING REPLACED AND REPAINTED, ALL THIS THREE DAYS BEFORE XMAS.
THIS WASN'T REPAIRED UNTIL MID JANUARY AND THE BATHROOM HAD TO BE STRIPPED AND RE INSTALLED.
THEY DO NOT PAY COMPENSATION ONLY GESTURES OF GOODWILL NOR WILL THEY ADMIT LIABILITY AS THE JOB IS CARRIED OUT BY SUBCONTRACTORS WHO SUBCONTRACT OTHERS (eg ELECTRICIANS ,PLASTERERS etc).
ON COMPLETING OUR INSTALLATION OUR INITIAL CONTRACTOR STATED THAT THE GOODS USED BY DOLPHIN WERE VERY POOR QUALITY AND PRICED AT THE WER END OF THE MARKET.
I WOULDN'T TOUCH THIS LOT WITH A BARGE POLE........STAY CLEAR

Welcome to Ciao, I've not heard anything good about Dolphin and their prices are horrendous. Ot would be helpful if you didn't type in caps as it's deemed as SHOUTING. :-)

Welcome to ciao, please turn the caps lock off (it makes it really hard to read, quite a good first review , but I think thatit needs a lot more information and detail to justify a higher rating. You might find it helpful if you read and rate some other peoples’ reviews (especially those that have been rated VH or E). It might give you an idea of the sort of things you need to include.
