When I recently moved, I went to phone my local Pizza Hut to have a pizza delivered one day, only to discover they did not cover my new address. I must admit this confused me a little, as I only lived 5 minutes drive difference from when they used to deliver at my old address. Puzzled and disappointed as we really fancied a pizza, and I must say although all the local kebab shop do pizza's they are extremely greasy and taste of nothing but flour and cheese. Suddenly we remembered Domino's from the advert as they sponsor `the Simpson's`, I had recently had a leaflet from them put through the door as well, but you know how it s you think Oh I will keep that and it takes you about eight months to find again. I must say I was not only successful in finding my local branch details, but found a fantastic service too.
Ordering:- ''''''''''''''''''''''''' When I visited the web site, I was asked too register. I did not mind this as you are asked the same of Pizza hut and that way you can access to the range of Pizza and other products they sell, the Price and more. If you do not have a menu, this makes life so much easier as you can usually write down what you want to order so that when you phone through your order you do not have to mess the staff around too much asking do you sell this. How much are they? And so on. After I registered with Dominos` I was over the moon with what I found on there site. You can phone through your order if you wish but with the site, you do not have to do that.
They list all there products with prices, ranges of bases, set toppings, additional toppings, starter, deserts and you can order and customise your pizza online. When you are happy with your order, you check you online basket. (If you need to edit your order, you can do so at this stage.) If happy with your order, you can place your order online. You are sent to the payments screen where you can choose your payment option of either Credit Card or Cash on Delivery. After going through the checkout and choosing your payment method you are then shown your order reference number and told that the Pizza is on its way. You are also sent an email confirming these details too.
My Opinion on This Ordering Method:- ---------------------------------------------------------- I was very surprised at how easy the site was to navigate, how you can quite easily customise the pizza you want and add extra toppings too. I must confess it was a lovely change for having to phone through an order, struggle with the ordering and then the spelling of the Address and so on, that used to drive me mad, but now I do not have to worry about that at all, I can do it all online and the food is delivered. How easy is that, I think it is great!!!!
Selection of Products:- ''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''' The great thing with dominos` is that you can choose from a variety of four different bases, the regular base, The Double Decadence, The Chicago Thin Crust or The Dominator. My personal favourite is The Dominator as it a lovely stuffed double layer pizza base with a tasty herb and cheese sauce in between the layers.
Unfortunately, The Dominator is only available in large and the Chicago Thin Crust and Double Decadence are only available in medium, but the regular bases are available in Personal, Small, Medium and Large.
Each of the Pizzas comes in a variety of toppings, and you can also customise them to add extra, or you can build a Pizza with the choices of bases from scratch. I must confess our usually is The Dominator Mighty Meat. This contains your regular tomato base and is topped with Onions, Mushrooms, Pepperoni, Ham, Ground Beef, Sausage and topped with 100% Mozzarella Cheese.
Other Toppings Available:- --------------------------------------- These are available in different styles of pizza like the Mixed Grill Pizza, The Tandori Hot Pizza and The Texas BBQ but if you choose to build your own you can have any of the following toppings in either a single or double portion:- Anchovies, B B Q sauce, Beef Steak, Domino's Herbs, Green Peppers, Ground Beef, Ham, Jalapeno Peppers, Mozzarella Cheese, Mushrooms, Olives, Onions, Pepperoni, Pineapple, Pizza Sauce, Reduced Fat Cheese F, Roast Chicken, Sausage, Smoky Bacon, Sweetcorn, Tandoori Chicken, Tom&garlic sauce or Tomato.
Starters Available:- ---------------------------- Chicken Combo--A portion of Chicken Strippers, Potato Wedges. Served with three dips: Sweet Chilli, BBQ and Honey & Mustard. Chicken Dunkers--Six chicken wing pieces served with two dips - Barbecue and Sweet Chilli Chicken Strippers--7 tender goujons made from chicken breast, coated in crispy breadcrumbs, served with two dips - Barbecue and Honey & Mustard Garlic Pizza Bread--Topped with 100% Mozzarella Cheese and Tomato Sauce. Potato Wedges--Seasoned potato wedges, oven baked and served with two dips - Sweet Chilli and BBQ. You can also buy the individual dips for 35p each available in Honey and Mustard, Barbecue, Garlic and Herb, and Sweet Chilli.
Desserts Available:- ------------------------------- Domino's Chocolate Indulgence--A rich, moist, sticky chocolate sponge with a smooth, creamy chocolate flavour sauce. Can be eaten hot or cold. New Sticky Dippers--Freshly baked cinnamon and sugar-topped breadsticks with a pot of sweet icing dip. Toffee Delight--Rich, moist, toffee-favoured sponge with a smooth, creamy vanilla cheesecake, smothered with a toffee-caramel sauce.
Drinks Available:- -------------------------- They also sell drinks Coca-Cola either a 330ml can or a 1.25 litre bottle, Diet Coca-Cola a 330ml can or a 1.25 litre bottle, or Fanta this is only available in 330ml cans though.
Delivery:- '''''''''''''''''''''''''''''' I have used Domino's three times now using the internet service and on every occasion, the Pizza arrived within 35 minutes never any longer. The delivery Person has always been well presented, dressed in Uniform, polite, and well mannered. The Pizza's I have has delivered have always been extremely hot where they are that fresh and always been cooked just right. I have never had an over cooked or dried out pizza arrive that is only warm.
Price and Value for Money '''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''' Overall, I find that they are very well priced and that you get a better quality product than you do from Pizza hut. You get a high quality, great tasting, rapidly delivered piping hot Pizza direct to your door within 35 mins delivered by well presented and well mannered staff. It is well worth its price.
Recommend? '''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''' I personal highly recommend Domino's if you live near one and since having a Pizza from Domino's I will never go to Pizza hut again because Domino's are the same in price but a better quality of product and service and a great variety too.
Advantages: good pizza, quickly made, great range Disadvantages: delivery isn't available for me
...I decided to try out Domino's Pizza. I always remember avoiding the company because I noticed their prices were a lot more expensive and they had less deals than their competition. Although, I think times have changed and now Domino's offer really good deals on their food. Firstly, the ordering process. Now they have introduced being able to order on the internet. What you do is you go to http://www.dominos.co.uk and then type in your post code. ... ...So far I feel Domino's are improving in their ways. They are a friendly company who get your pizza ready promptly and keep on updating their menu. I have only really had one mistake with them and that was that I ordered Potato Wedges but opened up my box to find Chicken Strippers although it was a mistake which worked out in my favour because they are more expensive.
The boxes are always easy to hold and with every pizza you always get a garlic ...

Advantages: Yummy comforting cheesy goodness Disadvantages: Lost a star because it will cause cholesterol to go through the roof.
...so out comes the trusty Domino's menu. Somehow that's become a little too close at hand lately for it to be kind to our waist bands, but oh so very comforting. Domino's pizza is one of those nice constants between life in Canada and life here in England. Our nearest Domino's is about a quarter mile down the road which means we often take advantage of the proximity and collect it ourselves which saves some money. However, if we're ordering early in ... ...every single time! Domino's menu is really as diverse as you could ask for from a pizza place. There are the slightly cheaper basic combinations which are Pepperoni Passion, Vegetarian Supreme, Hot and Spicy and Hawaiian and are basically a pound cheaper than the fancier combos such as Meateor (lots of meat), Texas BBQ (yum, their BBQ sauce is good), Meatzza Pizza (also meaty!), Vegi Volcano, Mighty Meaty (more meat!) and Full House. The newest flavour ...

Advantages: Very nice pizzas (although not as nice as Italian style ones), lots of stores so there's likely to be one near you Disadvantages: Expensive
Domino's is one of my favourite pizza take-aways, however it's price does reflect this. --Ways of ordering-- You can either call in for your pizza (often the best choice), ring up and get it delivered or order online and get it delivered. Calling in and ordering is often the best option as there are usually a few offers on that will reduce the price of your pizza, however this is only really an option if you live very close by as otherwise it's going ... ...use. --Stores-- Domino's has a large range of stores across the country making it more likely that there is one nearby you, this makes it much easier to try a pizza and if you enjoy it be able to find another pizza wherever you go. However, even with lots of stores, it's fairly likely that there won't be one near a lot of people who won't be able to try them at all. --Service-- Service is friendly enough, however I found that they give far more effort ...

...hour of culinary need than Domino's Pizzas.
Now, firstly let me come clean and mention that the real reason I ordered from them was because I'd got a voucher for a free medium size pizza (usually costing around £9.99). Without it I'd probably have just gone down to the chip shop!
There's a website called www.ihavemoved.com that offers this voucher if you register with them. It's a site for people who have recently moved house. Now, I was a bit ... ...Because I've never used Domino's before I choose my pizza toppings through the internet (I still phoned my order through though, as that's part of the rules when using a voucher). The website www.dominos.co.uk is easy to navigate, and it's very simple to use. The only thing is that there's no menu to browse before you order, so you've got to go through the process of ordering even if you don't actually go through to checkout. They have all the toppings ...

Advantages: 21 different toppings, new improved tomato sauce, corrugated card to prevent pizza sogginess Disadvantages: Not the cheapest delivery service, drinks are way overpriced
...I had a fling with Domino's Pizza. I feel ashamed, but at the same time it was very good - well, we all need a bit of experimentation in our lives, don't we? I just felt I had to confess my infidelity to someone. ;-) Surely you must have heard of my bit on the side? After all, Domino's is one of the UK's biggest pizza chains - they have 7,000 stores (1,700 of which are franchises) across Britain and Ireland - and he is widely known in the US and ... ...successful is Domino's that they have even managed to spawn out from just taking telephone orders for delivery, that they now do it over the internet and SKY interactive TV. They are the people who pop up those ads in the break of every Sky1 Simpsons episode you have watched. Well, it appears that all this advertising has finally got to me - well, that and the leaflets blatantly flaunting their tempting wares that keep falling through my letterbox ...

Reviews which might be of interest for "Domino's Pizza"
Advantages: Good Size, Value for Money Disadvantages: Too much bread and not enough topping
I'd love to know who they gave this pizza to in order for them to be "pepsi Challenged" for this pizza but it is just not anywhere near the standards of giants like Domino's and Pizza Hut.
I saw the advert the other day and thought I'd give it a go, see what the fuss is about and see if there really is a pizza at £3.00 could be better than the bigger more well known companies!
The bread was too dry, the cheese was less than generous and the pepperoni was beyond processed meat!
I was sadly dissappointed as I am a fan of their other range especially the smaller pizza's. A message to the fat cats - Back to the drawing board boys! ...
Advantages: Easy to cook, great flavour, great value! Disadvantages: Almost, but not quite as good as a Dominos. Just as unhealthy.
I've been a regular customer at my local Dominos' for over 4 years, ordering on average probably once a week. They make a damn fine pizza alright, but at roughly £14 for a large, it's just a bad, unhealthy, expensive habit of mine which I've known for a long time that I must cut down on.
I've tried most of the frozen pizza's from the supermarkets. Some are alright, but they're no match whatsoever for a Dominos', and you wouldn't expect them to be either, because they're a fraction of the price.
I heard the advert for this Chicago Town pizza again recently. They claim a survey of people preferred it to a Dominos' and a Pizza Hut take-out. My first thoughts were "Err, I don't think so. I guess its possible if they ordered from the worst Dominos' and Pizza Hut franchises in the country".
A few days later I was shopping and decided to ...
Advantages: It was almost tasty enough Disadvantages: There are better Pizza's out there
Pizza over the last few years has become more and more popular, and getting one delivered to your door is simplicity nowadays. The main two suppliers of delivery Pizza?s are Dominoes and Pizza Hut, both serving good Pizza with lots of trimmings should you require. They are however quite expensive compared to the Pizza you can buy in any supermarket, even if you take into account the massive savings they frequently offer on orders over a certain amount. I?m guessing most of you like me are now looking for the cheapest way to feed your family yet still give them a decent meal. If Pizza is your choice for the day then I suggest the supermarket is the place to go, I?m in no way particularly pointing you towards the product on review although you could do far worse.
Goodfellows are frequently advertised on TV, which ...
