~~~Domino's Pizza~~~
Im not sure about you but I love a good slice of pizza. We don't actually eat a lot of takeaway unless we have had a bad day at work and can't be bothered cooking or we fancy a nice night in on a weekend.

Our personal favourite has to be Domino's and here's why:

~Location:
Unfortunately for us we have never had a Domino's nearby that would deliver, if you have a Domino's nearby its worthwhile checking if they deliver instead of just presuming they do.

Our nearest was in StHelens which is 3.9 miles from our home but we are out of their delivery scope, were not lazy so driving there is not a problem but the location of the shop is for parking etc.

Within the last year Domino's opened in Widnes which is 5.9 miles from our home however even though the distance is much greater they include our area in their delivery scope which is quite strange but who are we to argue!

~Ordering your food:
Obviously you can go into the shop or if your lazy like us you can either ring them up, order on line or even by text.

We generally order online and we have found their website very easy to use. To order you first need to register which is very easy with just a few personal details and your email address. Then log in and find your nearest store with your postcode and you will be told if you can get your pizza delivered, if not don't worry you can still order online but you will have to collect it.

Once we had problems ordering online because I wanted to pay with my card which at the time was not registered at our home address because I had not yet moved in. But after speaking to the store they took my order and explained what I needed to do next time I ordered.

~Menu:
Im not going to list the whole menu for you but the list is endless.

The starters include a variety of friend chicken dishes, wedges, garlic breads, coleslaws, sauces and dips. There are even some combo's if you want to share.

For the main you can basically order from an array of variety pizza's in 4 different sizes including personal (7"), small (9.5"), medium (11.5") and large (13.5"). From the choices available you can add extra toppings and also choose your base including thin crust, regular, dominator (stuffed with cheese & herbs) and double decadence (cheese & herb sauce in-between two thin bases).

But if your feeling adventurous you can build your own pizza or you can even have one pizza with two different toppings with the half and half pizza.

If after you have eaten you still find room for more food then there is a list of desserts to choose from including Belgian waffles, cookies, chocolate melt or Ben & Jerry's ice cream.

Not forgetting to wash it down you can also purchase soft drinks.

~Meal deals:
Domino's also has a lot of meal deals on offers which I must admit we like to take advantage of, the most popular ones for us are the two pizza deal on a Tuesday (buy any large/medium pizza and get one free) or the buy one pizza and get one half price which is on everyday of the week.

There are also a variety of meal deals with a chicken combo, garlic bread and pizza, some of which can only be ordered online. However on the odd occasion where we have rang the shop they have actually given us the deal we have seen online.

~Cost:
On average I have to admit that Domino's is quite expensive, however compared to some other establishments the price is not as hefty as some people say it is.

For instance a large Pepperoni pizza on a regular base costs £13.99 at Domino's whereas the same pizza costs £12.99 at Pizza Hut. The variations in price is pretty much the same with everything else. There is normally up to £1 price difference in favour of the other establishments so personally I think it depends on how much your intending to purchase because the cost could build up if you have a large family.

Unfortunately I rarely see any vouchers available for Domino's whereas Pizza Hut always have vouchers with 10% off floating around on the internet.

~ Starters: Garlic bread £1.99. Chicken starts at £2.99 - £5.99.
~ Pizza's: Personal £4.99, Small £9.99, regular £11.99 & large £13.99.
~ Deserts:starts at £2.99 - £4.99
~ Dips: 35p each or 3 for £1 (get one free with each pizza & starters)

~Delivery & service:
Delivery for me has always been spot on with my food being deliver within 30 - 40 mins of me placing my order. Personally I think this is good because like I said we are 5.9 miles from the shop which is about 15 minutes drive minimum. I cannot complain about the food when it arrives because it always piping hot because of the bag it is delivered in (it keeps the food warm).

I have never had reason to complain because everything has been perfect so overall my experience with Domino's has been excellent.

~~~Summary~~~
Domino's offer a wide selection of food of which I have tried quite a lot of, my personal favourites have to be the pizza's with two toppings of my choice for those moments when I can't make my mind up and the delicious waffles with hot chocolate and toffee dip!

The menu is quite exclusive to Domino's however there is only so many varieties of pizza you can have so you will find other establishments cater for your needs.

The prices are quite expensive but they are not that much more than other establishments if you are eating as a couple, however you may feel the difference if you have a family to feed.

The portions for the starters and mains are not the largest but the pizza's make up for this because they are monstrous. Me and my fella have eyes bigger than our bellies and we always over order but then we get to have cold pizza the following morning!

But the main thing about Domino's is that the food is very, very tasty and personally I have never had a bad pizza from Domino's.

If you fancy a treat and your lucky enough to have one nearby, then give Domino's a try.
