Advantages: Excellent steam, easy to use, really cuts down ironing time
Disadvantages: Cable a tad too short, base unit gets very hot, occasional unintentional bursts of steam

...every 3 months, but I honestly have not found this necessary. They are quite easy to obtain in any case. I actually quite enjoy ironing with this iron, even after 3 years of owning steam stations the novelty still hasn't quite worn off. It really helps a rotten job to have good tools! Saturday June 16 - 5 days, no news so far! Did just want to mention though, when first steam station went kaput, desperately needed an iron, went to Tesco - no steam stations - so I bought their "Value" variety - £4.97! I ask you, £4.97. Not a bad little iron - doesn't have steam capabilites of the above of course, but at that price who can complain. Great little stand-by, can't wait to get Domotec back though. The iRobot Family Tree There are around 3 different families of iRobot robots. The Roombas are the first, them being the hovering robots. The one I bought the 'Silver' is the smallest and cheapest, designed to fit homes and do around 2 full rooms per charge. Then there are the two bigger more expensive which are more designed for hotels and guesthouses. These are the 530 & 560, which are a lot fancier. There is then the iRobot Scooba which is designed to scrub floors, which I am seriously thinking of buying.
