If you’ve not already seen an advert for this perfume then let me paint a little picture of it for you, a brunette, natural looking girl with piercing green eyes looking straight at you trying to tempt you with this perfume that is shaped like an apple. The apple imagery adds the crisp, intoxicating aroma of this perfume with a sense of freshness that you get when first biting into an apple.
** The Packaging **
The perfume comes in a brown, cardboard box almost resembling the sort of brown paper that parcels used to be wrapped in. The name and make is written on the front in a brown font. Upon opening the box you’ll discover a round bottle, the bottom half is thick glass, tinted green like an apple, while the top half the silver metal. The lid has a sort of dent in the top, similar again to that you find in an apple where the stalk sticks out of. On the side is a small, oval shaped sticker (again like an apple sticker) telling you the name, brand and that it is 100% New York… are you seeing the whole apple imagery a bit more now?!
** The Perfume **
The first thing you’ll notice is that this is a strong person, people standing next to you will be able to smell it just as clearly as you. It’s fairly modern, very fresh and quite crisp – almost sharp on the nose when you first smell it. It’s slightly fruity but not as much as other perfumes. There are hints of apple and also woody scents in this perfume; it’s not an overly feminine fragrance though.
** Other Products **
As with most perfumes today, various other products possessing the same smell also complement them. This perfume is no exception and also boasts a 150ml body lotion and a 6ml roller ball deodorant too. It should also be pointed out that the Be Delicious perfume comes in 2 sizes; a 50ml and a 30ml.
** Costs **
These products can be purchased for various costs from different stores; I have included a couple to give you a rough idea…
I adore this perfume; it’s fast become my favourite! It you liked DKNY Woman or if you’re a fan of other fairly strong perfumes such as Hugo Boss Boss Woman or Angel then I’m sure you’ll like this. I wouldn’t recommend it for those of you who like floral perfumes or very feminine smelling ones.
It's a long lasting scent, if applied in the morning it will still be lingering on your skin very slightly by the early evening and the smell stays even longer on clothes. The caption is “Take a Bite out of Life” and this is exactly what it’s suggesting, take a bite out of the apple!
Advantages: Nicer than the 'red' version of the DKNY Delicious range Disadvantages: Too expensive. Over applying gives the 'toilet freshener' effect...

The main ... ...I was a bit surprised when the first hint was that of fresh sweet lemons. After a few seconds, the scent releases a sour aroma, almost like limes, but gradually the focal scent is slowly released, first of fresh apples and slowly, very slowy it mellows into something more distinct - granny apples.. I actually prefer this to the red delicious version. This fragrance, at first, doesn't seem to have much of a range, but its mellowness conveys a depth ...

...DKNY is the label for Donna Karan’s fashion house. It was in 1988 that Donna Karan started her DKNY line which was a bit cheaper than her high fashion range. Branching away from just keeping it a clothing line she later made a kid’s clothing line, beauty products, accessories and furniture. Her sales shot up and more than half come from the DKNY lines. DKNY Be Delicious was brought out in 2004 and since it has also got a neighbouring fragrance, named ... ...one.
The DKNY Be Delicious bottle is very nice. I like this a lot because they have really thought out the design, the bottle is in the shape of an apple and so it is spherical. It is easy to hold in the palm of your hand and is a nice size. The bottom half of the bottle is transparent so you can see the green liquid inside and see how much of the liquid is left, the green resembling the colour of an apple too is nice. The creators say that the perfume was designed to 'celebrate New York, it's people and ethos, this beautiful fragrance combines the individuality and modern ethos of this town with the effortless chic and urban style of Donna Karan.'
What the Packaging is Like
The packaging for Be Delicious ... ...cellophane. The box has been designed to look like a brown cardboard box. This is a nice touch as it gives the packaging a rustic, orchardy feel which is great for apple perfume! DKNY is printed in large white letters across the front.
What the Bottle is Like
The bottle for Be Delicious is almost spherical, I think intended to evoke the idea of an apple shape. The bottom of the bottle is made of glass. The glass, rather than the perfume is green ...

Now, when you are with a girl, the prerequisite for even being around them for more than 5 minutes is the smell they are wearing. I have been with some girls over the years who, because of their scent, have forced me to flee for the hills, and obviously delete their number. One perfume which I think every girl I am interested in should wear is DKNY Delicious. This perfume accentuates all the best features a woman has, her neck, her breasts, her hair....and ... ...early stages of a relationship. Everytime I smell this wonderful scent, I am entranced, even if the girl is sub par with regard to looks. One good thing about this perfume is the scent lasts longer than 2 hours, with the average time of scent lasting roughly 8 hours on most women. All the women out there, I highly recommend this perfume if you are interested in attracting the right kind of man ...
