Advantages: classic hard rock Disadvantages: none spring to mind
The last time I bought a record by German rock goddess Doro Pesch, was a good few years ago when she was lead singer in the band Warlock. The years passed, and I was idly nosing round eBay and came across her last album FIGHT. "What have I got to lose?" I thought, and promptly bid for the cd and won.
When the cd arrived I was pleasantly surprised to see that it was in fact a limited edition enhanced cd complete with two videos.
On listening to the album, I was instantly transported to a time when heavy rock WAS heavy rock, and not novelty driven drivel like a lot of the so-called heavy rock/metal bands of today.
The album opens with the title track, which builds slowly up to storm out of the speakers.
The next track Always live to win takes it up a couple of notches and truly rocks.

Advantages: compact size of phone and base unit Disadvantages: lack of more advanced features
The doro 8085 has served me well for a number of years, with no reportable errors as of yet.
The key selling point for me was the compact dimensions of the unit, however, the fact that the phone is of swedish manufacture also convinced me that it would be of good quality.
The keypad layout, while taking some getting used to, is straightforward enough, and allows for fast and easy operation - provided your fingers are of suitable dimensions - the small size of the buttons may prove difficult for those with larger hands.
Perhaps the best aspect of the phone is its excellent sound quality, despite the ultra-compact size of the phone - also notable is the fairly small base unit, which doesnt eat up much desk space, and looks fairly attractive.
Day to day operation of the phone is satisfactory, with a decent, yet not overly enduring ...

Advantages: compact and all features including voice mail come from the handset. Also the hands free communication - very loud and clear - both for the caller and for the receiver Disadvantages: display could have been improved - a little more deigital - night display does not exist
