The funky looking handy shower radio:)

Advantages: Very Loud, Clear Speaker, Long battery Life
Disadvantages: Annoying Tuning

and I recon Homer could take a few bumps on the head with no trouble at all!!:) The radio is very loud. The volume control and on off switch are combined. Homers Left eye infact!! Yup you have to twist his eyeballs haha, Just twist the left eye ball to the right and on comes your radio:) The sound quality of this radio really is great, its not a tinny sounding radio like some shower radios. Sounds like a little boombox. The radio is powered on two AA batteries which are included in the box. I have had mine in use for 2 months and the batteries are still going so it must be very efficient. To tune the radio is is slightly harder than it could be, this radio does not have a dial showing the radio station so you have to guess where to stop. Makes it very tricky. To tune the radio jsut Turn Homers right eyeball! Haha great feature ...

What a Shower Radio

Advantages: Cheap and small
Disadvantages: only FM radio stations

COST: £3.98 Place of purchase:Tesco Extra Brand name: Tesco Batteries: 2x AA Frequency: FM Bought as a treat for my self I thought it would be great to add a bit of entertainment to the bath room. A shower radio seemed the perfect solution. I thought it'd be nice to relax to some classic FM whilst indulging in my weekly bubble bath soak. Although this is a shower radio, it does just as well as a bath-side speaker and I can rest assused that if it falls into the tub I won't be frazzled to nothinglessness! Size: It's a small square white rectangle. Measures about 7cm and is fairly light. It's the perfect size for sitting on your shower shelf amongst all the shampoos, moisturisers, bath gels and body washes. Sound Quality: Quite tinny actually, but then what would you expect for something you picked up at the supermarket ...

Review of Tesco Shower

Make your tap more flexible

Advantages: Better direction control, less splashing, spray option, soundly made
Disadvantages: Not cheap

Quite often the simplest of gadgets can be the most effective and that is very true, in my view, of the wonderful little Tap Adapta from Lakeland Limited. I first bought a Tap Adapta many years ago and had to remove it last year when I had a new sink unit fitted in my kitchen. Sadly it wouldn't fit my new tap so it lay in the drawer until a few weeks ago when I finally found all the little adapters in a cupboard (which I had put away in a 'safe' place) and was able to refit it and this has reminded me of just how much I missed it. Basically the Tap Adapta is a fitting which fixes on to your taps to provide a choice of an aerated water supply from the tap or a spray.
