...Gauntlet for the Xbox 360 arcade is a retro style game that is fun for any one has herd of or even like to play a retro game. This game has leader board score to see if you're one of the best players for the game or not. You can play from 4 different characters, The Warrior, The Valkyrie, The Elf, and even the Wizard that keeps with a dungeon and dragons theme. The game has loads of levels that you could play for hours and never finsh (played up to level 101 then gave up). Tis game is a must have for those that love and dungeon and dragon type games and have a lot of time on there hands and/ or has friends that want to play or even for partys it a perfict choice. Advantages: very easy to control
Disadvantages: priced a little much at £39.99

...This game is a definate must have to keep the kids (even us big kids) entertained during this wet summer. Although not the cheapest entertainment priced at £39.99 and does not support xbox live. In story mode of this adventure you get to play as shrek, donkey,puss in boots and lots more wonderful fairytale characters as you battle to save far far away! You must defeat villians such as evil trees, the huge ice dragon and the devious prince charming whist battling throught 20 levels from the movie and beyond. Another great feature of the game is the ability to play in two player mode. As well as the main game there are also a number of arcade style mini games including one where the aim is to batlle your opponent to destroy their castle before the destroy yours. All in all there is lots of fun to be had with this childrens game.... Read review

Disadvantages: Disheartening when somebody many levels better than you repeatedly beats you

...upgraded to the gold subscription. You can purchase the 12 month subscription on a debit/credit card via the xbox, but this cost £50 and the 12 month cards can be purchased for as little as £33 if you serach around (amazon is a good place to start). The dashboard is very much the same as the xboxs own menu system and is the same as the user is uesd to, only adding an extra tab for the xbox live marketplace. This also gives you acces to the xbox live arcade where you can download classic games such as double dragon, street fighter 2 and mortal kombat. Microsoft use a points system to charge for these games and other downloadable content and they can be purchased on a card from a store or online via a debit/credit card. I personally have downloaded the 1980's coin op version of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles that i spent hours playing as a child... Read review
