...my misgivings, I bought the Dove stuff in Boots on BOGOF, and haven't looked back since! The packaging has changed somewhat since the picture above was taken - it's now ergonomically designed (I'm guessing that's why they changed it, anyway!), with an easy-to-grip bottle and angled head for ease of application. This is the ‘original’ dove scented anti-perspirant and states it gives twenty-four hour protection. This is the first Dove deodorant that I have purchased. The only reason I chose it in the shop was because I noticed it was "new", and being the type of person who has to give all the new stuff a try, I had to have it. I was actually pleasantly supprised at how well it worked. The smell is exactly the same as the other Dove products, so rather than smelling perfumed, it had the familiar clean, soapy smell of Dove. ...wear. As with other Dove products, it contains 1/4 moisturising cream. I did not buy it for this quality, as too be honest I thought it was pretty much irrelevant for a deodorant. I am very anxious when it comes to body odour as I guess most people are. ...++++++++++++++ Dove is produced by Unilever, a big name behind many of our most popular household, laundry and beauty products. Dove do 4 different types of anti-perspirant deodorant: regular roll-on, stick, cream and spray. They come in 2 fragrances: original and 'fresh blue'. I opted for the cream at £2.99 for 50 ml from Boots. Why Cream? ++++++++++ I like cream deodorants as they are very smooth in texture and so glide easily over the skin. Also, if you keep gently rubbing, they soon disappear into the skin, meaning you don't have to walk around your bedroom with your arms in the air waiting for your armpits to dry. Sticks have the same advantage, but in all the bumpf I've read in women's magazines, they come out of tests as not so effective at doing their job. ...into the skin well, and pretty quickly too; there is no powdery residue or stickiness either. ~Does it smell good? ~ I really like the smell, but I would think that many people may not. It’s one of those fragrances you either love or don’t ~ it smells like all the other Dove range, so if you don’t like them , then you aren’t gonna like this one either! I find it to be clean, fresh and not too overpowering. It does have a soapy smell, but although quite strong, it doesn’t clash with my perfumes or body sprays. I like it because it isn’t floral and is suitable for both me and my husband to use. TANGE’S FINAL THOUGHT!
