Luckily, Dove Cream Wash is presented beautifully and I am very approving of the style. It also holds a decent amount of Liquid Soap at 250ml which will last a while when used properly. Pacifistic handwash for the gentle fellow.
Throughout the review I may break down the title of the product in question "Dove Cream Wash Liquid Soap" into several abbreviations, for example: Liquid Soap, Dove, Cream Wash etc… This does in no way mean that I am reviewing the wrong product, I am merely using an abbreviated version of the products title in order to reduce tedium, making the review easier to read. Thank you.
Presentation/Packaging - *********************** Now, I know that a few of you find the presentation of this product to be of little importance, so I will keep this brief, but I for one and I am sure others as well, do! Personally I feel that the bathroom has to be a nice relaxing place where you can get away from things in peace and almost prepare yourself for a long arduous day at work, school, etc. It can be in some respects the difference between having a good or bad day at school or work. In my opinion it is the first real experience or activity of everyday and creates your whole mindset that will last and carry you through the day and its work until you clock off. Therefore, your bathroom could in fact put you in a bad mindset to face the day and in doing so could cause you to have a bad day. So, the little things count and if you were using products that were presented in ugly and tacky styles this could have a negative effect on you, I know it may seem crazy to some, but all these little negativities do add up. For those of you can't appreciate what I am saying, think about this, would you rather have something beautiful or ugly?
Luckily, Dove Cream Wash is presented beautifully and I am very approving of the style. It also holds a decent amount of Liquid Soap at 250ml which will last a while when used properly. The peachy white colour of the packaging is delicate and soft; matching the actual colour of the Liquid Soap. The bottle is beautifully shaped with a smooth texture. The information on the back is presented in a clear and concise fashion that allows for easy reading. There are no irritating slogans, as there are with many of these products and the whole presentation has a wonderfully calm and slightly calming appearance. The creators have done a very good job as the bottle alone gives of a very nice feel and, forgive me for saying this, but a somewhat lovely positive karma to the bathroom.
I won't go any further and will move onto slightly more important matters before you all apply to have me sectioned. 5/5
Ease of use - ************ Well, I don't know if it's just me being a typically useless halfwit or not but it took me 20 minutes to get it working. The pump obviously comes sealed as standard in order to prevent spillage in shops and during transportation so therefore you have to fiddle around with it, as you do with most handwashes, to open the valve. With similar products you just have to pull the top upwards and it will then work when you press it down. With Dove Cream Wash on the other hand, I have no idea what you have to do as there are no instructions. I really couldn't tell you how to get the pump flowing as I tried fiddling pull it up down and twisting it both clock and counter clockwise. Eventually in my frustration I turned it over and just bashed it on its head a couple of times with force and it started working. I know what you're thinking, idiotic male? Well, after failing to open it I, discontentedly, consulted a woman's touch and she had no luck either. I have come to the conclusion that there surely isn't a major design fault as they just wouldn't be on sale today and that there must have just been a problem with the mechanism of the particular Cream Wash I purchased.
Once I got it working however, the ease of use was fabulous. When you press it down it secretes a small amount of Liquid Soap with no difficulty. A small amount is all that's needed but if you wish you can press it down several times to get much more, very simple and easy to use, no hassle! 4/5
Senses - ********** Touch/Texture: When you rub your hands together and begin the lathering process it is admittedly very pleasant. It feels very soft, sleek and excuse my terrible cliché but even "silky". It is also slimy, now don't let this put you off, because it is actually very useful as it allows your hands and figures to glide through and over one-another with ease, it also add to the lovely moisturising feel. Although Dove Cream Wash possesses lovely and soft moisturising qualities before you add water, this is not the finished result. After I had washed my hands with the product although my hands were and felt admittedly very clean and the backs of my hands felt soft and smooth my palms felt horrible! My palms actually felt very dry and in a way too clean. That may seem weird but there isn't any other way to describe it. It really wasn't a nice feeling, the moisturising effect had not worked at all and my palms were even dryer than before I used Dove Cream Wash. For better results and to hold onto the lovely silky moisturising qualities that Dove Cream Wash possesses without water, use a very small amount and the product will last longer, clean your hands just as effectively and furthermore leave you with a nicer soft sensation on your hands, no dryness! 3/5
Fragrance: The smell or fragrance although obviously artificial is very nice. It's a very artificial fragrance and personally I prefer something more natural like fruits but nevertheless it's still very pleasant. Although it's quite a subtle fragrance at the same time it's quite strong and will stay with you and the bathroom for a few hours. Therefore you may find a problem if you personally despise its scent, you may have to invest in another handwash in order to cancel out the lingering aroma of Dove Cream Wash. It seems silly to say but I think it has quite a posh fragrance and it reminds me of a swanky hotel bathroom. All and all Dove Cream Wash although obviously an artificial smell is a very nice one, which will stay with you for a few hours and leave you bathroom smelling very posh indeed. 4/5
Appearance: The appearance of Dove Cream Wash Liquid Soap is very interchangeable regarding what condition and quantity it is in. When secreted from the cap/pump in a small quantity it is a faint yellow/peachy colour; reasonably thick, viscous and very creamy. It doesn't in anyway look menacing or horrible; its appearance is perfectly pleasant. In bulk the appearance is very similar it just increases in its consistency and intensity. The colour becomes more concentrated and is a strong yellowy peach. It is extremely creamy thick and viscous, it hardly runs. Once you have begin to rub the Cream Wash into your hands it changes to plain white and becomes more viscous and thick with a considerably larger surface area in order to clean all the germs and moisturise all the pores in your hands. Overall the appearance is perfectly pleasant. 4/5
Taste: Now, I know exactly what you're thinking, taste? Why would you want to taste it? Well, you wouldn't but for the benefit of all those potential buyers I thought I would point out the taste as you are likely to get it in your mouth if decide to wash your face with it as it claims on the front it is now "suitable for face cleansing". As can be expected, the taste is truly horrible but, I must admit, it is a lot worse than most facewashes.
It is very strong and no-doubtably soapy. It really is very sharp and truly disgusting, even if you get the tiniest amount on your lips, so don't get it in your mouth! But if you do get some in your mouth or even swallow some, don't worry, its not going to poison you in a small dose, although it could give you a stomach ache. 1/5
"Also suitable for face cleansing"? ******************************** On using it on my face I found similar effects as on my hands. It was awfully soft, very cleaning and moisturised well. Unlike my hands, it didn't leave my face feeling dry at all, in fact I felt extremely fresh. Nevertheless, I still wouldn't recommend it for face cleansing. Although it felt great afterwards, you can get exactly the same, if not better, feeling from a standard facewash without the hassle that Dove Cream Wash brings, having the bad taste in your mouth for a few hours, the lathery mess and it sticking to your hair, it can be hard to wash out. In conclusion, I would advise that you buy it to use your hands but get a separate and more specialised product, maybe from the same range if you like, to wash or "cleanse" your face with. 2/5
Value for money - ****************** I paid £0.83 for one bottle of "Dove Cream Wash Liquid Soap" which, personally, I felt was a little bit of a rip off, but hay… nothings cheap nowadays so I was prepared to pay the price considering the quality of the product and its long lasting attributes as it is a 250ml bottle and you don't need to use very much each time. I was then horrified to discover that this was actually a special half price offer and the real price was in the rejoin of £1.60-90. This truly is an outrageous price, its just extortionate for a 250ml bottle for some very nice soap. I would continue to buy it in the offer period but not at the full price, I can probably find something just as good for half the price. So as far as value for money is concerned, it really isn't good and although the product is very nice, you have to buy with moderation and remember after all, it's just soap and really isn't worth, although brilliant, the heavy price of £1.60-90. 2/5
Ingredients - ************ I know some frown upon posting ingredients in reviews although for the benefit of those who may be allergic to some ingredients I will list them. You wouldn't want to have to go all the way down to the shops only to find out that you aren't suitable for the product. The ingredients do vary for different varieties within the Dove Cream Wash range so these ingredients only apply directly to Dove Cream Wash Liquid Soap. The ingredients are harmless and unless you are ultra sensitive to any of the ingredients you are unlikely to display any symptoms of allergies as the quantities in which each ingredient is used, is extremely small.
The Dove Effect - **************** The overall Dove effect as it were is, as I have already illustrated, extremely pleasant. Here are some points to reiterate and recap on my opinions of "Dove Cream Wash Liquid Soap": It looks nice and has a good karma feel to the way its presented, it's relatively easy to use as long as you don't have a problem with the mechanism, it feels great on your skin as it is soft and silky although can leave you with dry palms if you are too fastidious with regards to washing your hands, it smells brilliantly, exceptionally posh and pure aroma that will last for several hours, it looks reasonably pleasant, you can wash your face with it but I wouldn't recommend doing so because its messy and tastes atrocious and there are no threatening ingredients. All round, it's a wonderful Liquid Soap, probably one of, if not the, best there is. But, brilliance comes at a heavy price! 4/5

Dove cream liquid wash
Since having jack I have been super cautious with washing my hands before touching him or his toys. I always was pretty good with hand washing before but now it has become somewhat of an obsession. I make sure not only my hands are washed but anyone else who comes into contact with him I'm screaming at them to wash before they touch!!
Due to all this excessive washing my hands are taking a bit of a battering. I am prone to ... ...This particular hand wash, Dove Cream Wash, is about the sixth one I have tried and it seems to be the best so far. I have always been a lover of the Dove range as they seem to have been around selling great products for ages (since 1957). I usually buy their soap, which I find to be the best for my face as it makes my skin feel wonderful. I really am not sure why I waited to long to try out this particular hand wash!
In Tesco's there has been a ...

...I start my review on Dove Cream Wash Soap, I'd like to paint you a little picture. I was leaving my house dressed rather well, if I do say so myself, white handbag in one hand... and a bottle of Dove Soap in the other. No, I'm not mad and I don't usually go around with soap but I figured since I was going to my grandparents for the day I could take the soap and write the review. I suppose, looking back on it now I could have put the soap in a carrier ... ...my hand!

Advantages: Moisturises, Protects and Softens Skin Disadvantages: Dispensing nozzle can be problematic
When it comes to cleansing, Dove is always going to be my first choice. Containing ¼ moisturising cream, and with a pH neutral formulation - Dove always makes for a satisfying soap experience. If you've ever used a Dove product you will know the pleasant scent which characterises and in fact distinguishes their products - a scent I myself am extremely fond of.

Advantages: Creamy, silky, soft and gentle. Good lather and cleaning power Disadvantages: Full price is a bit expensive (but its worth it!)
Dove Cream Wash Liquid Soap is a superb product that I wish I could have found a long time ago! For the first time, I can now wash my hands as many times as I want and still have them feeling smooth, soft and moisturised whilst also smelling sweet and clean.
I searched out this product on the shelves in Boots as I had seen that it was the Ciao product of the week and we needed to renew our bottle of liquid soap at home. It was less than half its ... ...let's go for it!' Dove is a respected brand, offering products that are gentle on the skin and made by Unilever, so I thought it would be worth a try. I'm so glad I did! Packaging and Marketing The cream wash is packaged in a white plastic bottle, containing 250ml of liquid soap. The bottle is an attractive shape with a blue pump action dispenser. These types of container are very useful to keep on the sink and, providing they don't drip in between ...

Dove ....over the years..
Dove is a very well known brand , started awhile ago and grown strongly to cover the whole world. At first it has so many competition and so many famous brand to catch. At the very first beginning their theme was white and baby pink and their range was very limited The one the I remember my mum used is Dove cream in a plastic tin . She use it as hands and body cream and she was very pleased with it.
These days Dove extended ... ...step was very unique , Dove fully understand women's needs, that's why they had these products:

They also divided their products into groups
The pro age,the fresh touch, Silk range, firming, summer glow
and finally the original range which Dove cream wash liquid comes from.

Advantages: Dove brand, quarter moisturising cream Disadvantages: Price, hard to throughly rinse off.
Firstly, I think all Ciao-meisters will realise I do all the shopping our house, secondly, I think you all will realise I am a bit of a shopaholic and I can be easily swayed by things that are on TV or things that have the word 'New' on them! I like to use hand wash as part of my nursing course we learnt about how many bugs were present on a patients damp soap and I have to say it put me off soap for life! So since then, I have been addicted to liquidsoap.
This Dove Skin Purifying CreamWash is no exception to that, I found this on Tesco online whilst doing my shopping and as it was on BOGOF, I decided to go for this hand wash rather than my normal Carex, which I had been finding drying of late.
