Dove has become a favourite word for women to use, I feel that Unilever have gone from strength to strength with their range of Dove products. Not only do the Dove products regularly come into the stores offered at affordable prices but Dove also cater for all ages. Dove have chosen to use a rich maroon coloured packaging for their Pro-Age range, the colour is elegant, sophisticated and does stand out when you are searching for a particular product from that range.
The 500ml bottle costs around £2 and the beauty bath does go a long way. I love the philosophy behind the range, Dove pledge to make a true difference not only for today but for tomorrow too. This is forward thinking, Dove realise that how we treat our skin now makes a big difference to our skin in the future. The attractive plastic bottle looks good sitting on the side of the bath and it has a small flip top opening which allows us to to use the beauty bath sparingly. I am not saying that you should be mean with it but you only need to use a small amount for one tub of water.
The Dove Beauty bath is a thick rich white cream that needs coaxing out of the flip top bottle, I usually pour some into the palm of my hand and then swish it into the tub of warm water. When the beauty bath sits in the palm of your hand you can tell that the mixture is rich and full of moisturiser. As you let it flow from the palm of your hand into the warm water it starts to cloud the water making it look milky. The Pro Age beauty bath has a soft fragrance that is delightfully feminine and quite classic. Give the cream a moment or so to make friends with the water and then slide into the tub. I live in an area where the water is reasonably hard and the beauty bath produces little lather but it fully enriches the water with moisturisers.
Dove mean the beauty bath to be enjoyed and encourage you to lie and soak in the luxurious water. One quarter of the bottle is filled with pure moisturiser and when you are laying in the water you can feel that it is silky and hydrating. A long soak is stress relieving and very calming, the beauty bath then has plenty of time to set to work on your skin. There is no doubt in my mind that you can feel a difference in your skin after soaking in the Dove beauty bath, it is softer, it smells good enough to eat and you yourself feel a million times better.
The Pro-Age beauty bath mixes well with the water whereas some crème baths sit on top of the water and leave an oily film as you soak. But Dove beauty bath has filled the water with creamy moisturiser and when you empty the bathwater you may find a slight film that needs to be wiped away.
Soft skin helps you to feel good and it certainly makes you look healthier. I am a big fan of the Dove products and as yet have to come across one that fails to please me. I feel that the Dove advertising campaign has been inspirational, so many of us get it into our heads that we are only beautiful if we are a sized ten teenager but Dove help us to understand that whatever size or age we maybe we are all beautiful in our own way. If you go to the Dove website and join up, a very simple process, then you will get all the latest news and updates and maybe the odd freebie now and again too.
I'm sure most of you have seen the adverts for Dove's Pro-age products featuring naked more mature women but thankfully it is all very discreet! Being from that age range myself I decided to give the bodywash a go and I'm so glad I did.
You will see from the picture above this comes in a dark red plastic container with a flip top lid which, even with wet hands, makes it easy to hold and use.
I find one squirt from the container onto my scrunchie ... ...is rich and creamy and has a hint of fragrance to it but nothing overpowering. In some ways the smell reminds me of Ponds Cold Cream but not quite so strong. As I wash with it the lather increases and I'm covered in lovely creamy bubbles which feel luxurious to my skin. Afterwards my skin feels clean and moisturised and oh so soft. In fact the first time I used this bodywash when I went to bed my husband stroked my back and I thought "hello my luck ...

Dove beauty products arrived on the scene, in England, at least ten years ago. Initially the range was small and the most popular, and commercial product, was Dove soap. A bar was claimed to have a quarter of its contents made up of moisturising cream. It became quite a successful product and Dove brought out deodorants, shampoos and creams, which all had high percentages of moisturising cream.
In the last year or two Dove have ... ...care body wash first.
DOVE PRO-AGE BEAUTY CARE BODY WASH
**************************************
The prop-age range are all packaged in a sort of sophisticated and mature, deep maroon coloured, plastic bottle, appropriate for each product. The Beauty Care Body Wash is in a tall bottle about ten inches high with silver and white writing on it. The trademark symbol of a dove is in silver. You just flip the white striped lid and there is a hole to ...

I love the scent of Dove soap so when I spotted Dove pro age beauty bath on offer for just £1 in my local Tesco I assumed I would like it. The Dove pro age range is very cleverly marketed and has the catchy slogan not just for today but for tomorrow .This implies it is suitable for all aged women! Dove pro age is made by the giant unilever company. Let me start with the positives-I really like the sleek maroon plastic bottle of this product. It looks ... ...I like the small silver Dove on the front too. The bottle has a small flip top lid and can be a bit awkward to open and pour, especially with wet hands! The information on the bottle tells me that this beauty bath is ¼ moisturizing cream packed in a rich lather for a pleasant soothing bathing experience. It also says it will give my skin back what it needs. I could hardly wait to try it! I like to have a long soak, usually with candles and a glass ...

...husband was a bottle of Dove Beauty Care Body Wash Pro Age. I had heard good things about the Pro Age range so I was looking forward to trying this one. At our previous house I always had to insist on having shower gels and body washes with hooks so that they could hang up in the shower as we didn't have a shelf in the shower and bending down to pick things up off the floor meant that I kept getting my hair wet! Anyway now hubby has free reign on ... ...range. The front has the Dove logo in white with the actual dove in silver and the words 'Beauty Care Body Wash pro age made to give back to your skin what it needs right now: optimised cell turnover and extra hydration'. The very top bit of the container is white and this is where you flip open the lid. To get at the body wash you just flip open the lid, invert the container and squeeze. The initial fragrance is light, fresh and pleasant. I find ...
