fly me away with my dove

Advantages: cleansing
Disadvantages: none that i have found yet

I have been using dove ultra moisturizing body wash for a few weeks now
It is really good it does do what it is meant to do
Which is moisturize the skin
I do feel really refreshed after I’ve had a shower
And it smells really pleasant

The only thing I am not to keen on is when you rinse it off it makes you feel as if you are not squeaky clean
But obviously I am because I’ve just had a shower
...pleasant smell
A very nice fragrance
And when you use it in my view it smells a bit like cream but with a fragrance
If that makes any sense

Out of the body washes or shower gels I have used it is probably the best smelling one I have come across so far and I am always on the look out for something that smells good

This product comes in 250ml bottle
The bottle is white with a blue lid

Does it smell good?

Value for money

A Little Goes A Long Way

Advantages: smooth skin,
Disadvantages: none that i have experienced

...the first time I bought Dove Ultra Moisturising Body Wash; it was on a promotional offer with a free dove body puff back in 2001. The body wash comes in a white bottle with blue writing on it and a small picture of a gold Dove. 250ml of Dove Body Wash cost me £2.99 which I bought from my local chemist called Williamson’s Chemist. You can buy this product from many chemists like Boots, Superdrug etc the prices may vary from different outlets ...
...it has the scent of Dove products (like dove soap + shampoo etc). You can apply the body wash directly onto your skin, I have done this but it goes on so thick that I end up coming out of the shower with cream still on me in places. So I do use the body puff, which is like a soft net all scrunched up. You only need a small blob of the body wash on your body puff and work it into a lather then take the puff over your body until your clean then just ...

Don't squeeze it too hard

Advantages: Smells nice, works well.
Disadvantages: Don't squeeze the bottle too hard or too much will come out

...never written an opinion on Dove Ultra Moisturising Body Wash so here it is. I usually use Garnier Nutralia Body Wash but I received the Dove product as a present and so decided to try it. The first thing that I noticed was that it is easier to dispense than the Garnier Nutralia. In fact I got the sponge and squeezed the Dove as firmly as I would have squeezed the Garnier and nearly moisturised myself to death! It was a good job I was sitting in ...
...a handful! (ooer missus!) Dove is made by Lever Faberge and contains ‘lipids identical to those in the skin, which are absorbed leaving the skin feeling smooth’ – at least, that’s what it says on the container! All Dove products claim to one quarter moisturising cream (even the deodorant) and this is no exception. The lather is very creamy and does leave my skin feeling softer and moisturised. Whether that feeling lasts ...

Dove Body Wash...Coo

Advantages: Moisturises, and smells nice!!
Disadvantages: Absolutely none!

...to find a suitable alternative. Dove was the chosen one, and we were very impressed with it. Although it didn’t smell as nice as Shield it was definitely softer and left your skin feeling very soft. Three years after getting the shower plumbed in we got it wired up to the electrics (D.I.Y runs at a snail's pace in our house!!) and then swapped to Dove Ultra Moisturising Body Wash, phew what a mouthful that is! And we have been just impressed ...
...fist time I ever bought it I chose the package that came with the free scrunchy thing, you know what I mean? The thing that to me looks like a net curtain all screwed up and bundled together!! What a revolution that was (I am not a easily impressed saddo about these kind of things, although it might seem that way sometimes..tee hee hee!). We have never gone back to sponges or flannels, my boys really do have the genuine excuse of not knowing what ...

Dove Brings Peace to Dry Skin

Advantages: Good Lather, Nice Scent, Moisturizes
Disadvantages: Packaging

...bottle is the scent. Dove bath wash has a very soft, powdery scent to it that has been infused with a light flowery aroma as well. Its not overly sweet smelling, either, and it doesn't smell soapy in the least. Overall, this is a very pleasant scented product. When you first take out some of the product you'll find that its is also fairly thick. In fact, I'd say that its the thickest of all the body wash products I've ever tried. So much so that ...
...the best thing about this Dove body wash is that it smooths my skin and makes me feel like I've used a really nice body lotion, without the hassles of finding a body lotion to use. That should be as good a recommendation as any, if not one of the better recommendations there could be. Thanks for reading! ~~~~~ Technical Stuff: They now call this Triple Moisturizing Body Wash and I've seen it at Boots for £2.28 for a 250ml bottle. I've also found ...

The White, Creamy Sensation

Advantages: Smells fresh, moisturizes
Disadvantages: a little pricey for shower gel

...He buys and uses Dove moisturizing shower gel. Of course so do I but I'm a girl! After months of daily moisturizing rituals (showering then slathering on buckets of cream) we discovered that our skin was abnormally dry. Not so dry that flakes were covering our skin, but enough to have that lizard leathery feel after stepping out of the shower. No knock to it, but we were using Imperial Leather up until a couple of months ago. It is probably the ...
...our next shower regular. Dove Moisturizing body wash. The scent is very very pleasant. It isn't so feminine as to put my boyfriend off it (afterall he dished out £4.19 of his hard earned Boots points) and it comes off smelling different on each of us. For me it is a cross between a bar of soap and moisturizer scent which is funny because that's what it says on the bottle. We have 400mL which is quite a large bottle, but it works. It helps to use ...

diet, and 12 bags of “Sizzling Cajun Style Chicken” with cooking instructions for “Sizzling Prawn Cantonese Style” printed on the reverse. I am sure by now that the reader can tell where this opinion is going…. Last year he also brought home 48 (yes, that’s right forty-eight) cans of Dove Ultra Moisturising Body Wash (I am so heartily sick of this product, I can no longer look at it let alone write about it!) and more recently a dozen bottles of Clairol Herbal Essences Shampoo. This particular replenishing shampoo is recommended for use on coloured, permed, dry or damaged hair. Ahhh at last a product that I will use! It is blended with natural rose hips, vitamin E and jojoba in mountain spring water. Replenisher shampoo helps to restore and protect damaged hair and the plant derived ingredients ...

My skin’s sensitive which is definitely good in some situations, but a damn pain in others... (I know – rudeness! Oh well!) Anyway soap usually makes my skin dry out totally and I end up looking like something monstrous out of the X-files (and don’t even mention the agony that goes with being a dried out monster-thing!) Mind you I guess if I’m ever short of money a contract might be in the making?!? (lol – I wish). Dove have been around for a while now and I’ve been chasing their products almost as much as Tom chases Jerry (love it!!!) Onwards to the actual opinion before I screw it up completely!!! The lovely people at Dove have given us a humongous range of products which include the following: ~~~Dove Ultra moisturising Body Wash~~~ OOOOooo - A unique moisturising system that actively ...

Review of Dove Range

All Doved Up

Advantages: Leaves your skin silky soft and smooth
Disadvantages: So silky that when you squeeze it out you might get too much

The Dove range has grown to become a favourite with many. My first encounter with it was while on holiday with a group of friends and one of my mates had brought it. I tried a little of it and was hooked immediately. It was ultra-moisturising and perfect for dry skin like mine. I was more than happy to try the Dove Cream Oil Body Wash when it came out. Unlike it's other products this packaging was unique. It didn't have the uniform white and blue colours that many associate with Dove. Instead it comes in an almost gold bottle and has a a sheen to it, possibly because this is the Silk range. I bought it immediately and couldn't wait to use it! Like all the other products it has not failed me. It's absolutely lovely-dovely. It contains a blend of macadamia oil and pure silk (makes you wonder a bit about the silk, but mind you it does ...
