I read the enclosed leaflet and made sure I followed a strict food detox the week before doing the 24 hour detox over a weekend.
I started on a Friday evening and took the first 3 drinks as directed, including the 3 ½ fl oz olive oil one. (They tasted so foul I had to try and not throw them back up. They tasted salty with an extremely terrible after taste)
The horrible effects didn't really take hold until just going to bed at 10pm. My entire bowels opened up and it felt so painful like all my insides were coming out (in liquid form). I attempted to sleep after being on the loo for about 1 hour, but kept running back every 15mins for the next 2 hours. Finally got to sleep and woke up at 4am. I am so glad my partner ...

I started taking this detox on a Saturday, which I didn't find too unpleasant to drink, then made the mistake of going to visit my friend - at least I hope she is still a friend. Once the detox solution started 'cleansing my bowels' there was no stopping it. Talk about explosive!
I managed to get back home between bouts, but was then in and out of bed, visiting the toilet through most of the night, and then for most of the next morning. My very confused dog spent the night on the landing, watching me rush back and forth.
Luckily I had invested in some moist toilet paper which helped - goodness knows how raw I would have been with just dry paper to assist.
My partner, who was away on the Saturday night, arrived home on the Sunday, listened to my story and then decided that he could do with a 'cleanse' - ha ha!!
