    Advantages Advantages Good RPG game of the year for Baldur's Gate RPG type fans

    Plot The player begins his or her journey from in one of the six origin stories which serve as an introductory point for the players and present the world from their personal point of view. The story depends on race and class that players choose.     Dragon Age: Origins The Story The story is set in the fictional realm of Ferelden, a dark, high-fantasy setting. The land is haunted by horrific monsters called the Darkspawn, who plague the underground, and who every so often rise up in what is known as a 'Blight' to wipe out every living thing in the land. At the head of every Blight is the Archdemon, a legendary figure rumoured to be the tainted soul of a god.     Advantages Advantages Classic of the genre, high quality writing and fine plot.

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Combat can get a little same-y, disappointing variation in appearance of characters.

    Dragon Age: Origins is a fantasy role-playing game from Bioware. Even that statement is immediately inspiring and challenging: these are the people who brought you the Baldur's Gate games, as well as Knights of the Old Republic and the Mass Effect series. Can it live up to the standards or its illustrious predecessors? Yep, just about.     Dragon Age: Origins is a prime example of how RPG games should be done. Deep character interaction with a plethora of exceptional voice acting on virtually all dialouge present in the game. Combined with the stunning visuals, graphics and epic soundtrack that acompanies the intense action present in the game. All this and more makes for one of THE best and most immersive RPG games released in gaming history.
