Dragonshard (PC)

Advantages: Good graphics, engrosing storyline and intense music
Disadvantages: not as good as ff7

...This game is a particularly big one in the eyes of the PC gamer bring for the second time one of the best RPG development teams in the world to the pc. The first game squars soft made that was converted to the pc was the prequel final fantasy 7 and this was a masterpiece of computer game programming however it did on the pc have its problems. Final fantasy 8 havd promised to rectify these problems and produce a new quality of squars soft computer game on the pc. It did to a certain extent achieve this but ssome of the promises have not been met much to the dissapointment of gamers like myself. The story line and game play are sound , mabey not as good as final fantsy 7 but near enough and the life span is hudge as on the pc the game comes on 5 discs.... Read review

Disadvantages: can be slow

...Today technology is advancing so quickly that computers are out of date or a better product is available as soon as one is bought. I bought my PC for £900 around 5 years ago and at the time it was brilliant, the fastest model around even. Now however it can barely play connect to the internet let alone play all these games which require Pentium 3's,500 Mhz! I cannot afford to spend so much on a new computer and it is not possible to upgrade my old one as it does not have that long left. The games themselves are realitivly cheap compared to the PlayStation 2 but i feel that when purchasing a PC game your can never be quite sure it actually works due to the specification. I think i will stick to the playstation for gaming and use the PC for the internet and spreadsheets as it was originaly intended to.... Read review

Advantages: PC - Internet, E-mail, Better graphics, Better sound ; PSX - Easy to use
Disadvantages: PC - Viruses, Errors, Complicate work ; PSX - Graphic and Sound isnt good, no Internet and E-mail and other

...PC is good for work and games and PSX only good for playing games, for pc games you can find patched, updates, fixes and other what you cannot find on PSX, but it is very, very easier to use!! On PC you have first to calibrate the gamepad and for PSX not! And there is something else good for pc, pc every month gets some new graphic cards sound cards, processors and other. Sony made their Playstation and after maybe 5 years it sells about 60 million times. And something else - you have emulators on the pc. You can with them play console games on the pc......
