Having had the program recommended to me by my friend who is (almost!) never wrong about films and tv I have to say that this was definately one of his best suggestions! One of the problems I have with a lot of crime programs/ films is that they make it look incredibly easy to solve crimes. The second series of Life on Mars continues Sam Tyler's journey that began in the first series.
