I'm not sure on this one. Lets start with what's best about the movie which is in fact the acting. Denzel Washington plays narcotics cop L.A.P.D. Detective Sergeant Alonzo Harris to perfection, he clearly owns the screen whenever he is no it, which is pretty much every scene.
