I am a keen gardener and with nearly 2 acres of borders and vegetable beds to cope with I am often weeding. Over the years I have used all sorts of trowels and forks, some of them quite expensive. However, one by one they have let me down usually by bending out of shape or even breaking. For the last year or so I have been using the above products and I can highly recommend them since they have retained their original appearance and sharpness despite having to dig out large lumps of stone or dig through dry impacted earth. I purchased each trowel and fork from a local Robert Dyas hardware store [south of England] for the small price of £4.99 but in retrospect would now be prepared to pay double since the products are well worth it. The stainless Steel Rat - Still Not Rusty.

He was born or rather created in 1961 and has appeared on book shelves ever since. A First Class Trowel

Advantages: Look after the trowel and it will last your for years.
Disadvantages: None at all.

I would imagine that Wilkinson's Sword must be a very familiar name with anyone who spends a lot of time in their garden. Most of our garden tools have been with us for many years and more often than not if we ever need to replace an implement we replace like for like and buy another Wilkinson's Sword tool. As a keen gardener I cannot imagine being without a good quality hand trowel, a strong hand trowel is an invaluable piece of garden equipment. I tend to use my hand trowel in the borders, if you have a good strong trowel then you are well equipped to deal with the toughest of tasks. A strong trowel offers good leverage and this stainless steel trowel from Wilkinson's Sword is a very capable hand tool.
