Its not all bad news though. I managed to get 2 batterypacks off of ebay for £6 each!!! i may have got lucky but internet shopping is cheap so i suggest looking around the internet and if none of this suits you save your self money by trading in your wireless controllers for the standard wire ones!

to its popularity in my household we were getting through bucketloads of batteries for the Wii balance board. The board takes 4 AA batteries and whilst they were lasting reasonably well, the sheer amount of use that the board was getting meant that it was costing us a fortune.
Looking on amazon we found the MadCatz Wii Fit BatteryPack. At a reduced price of £4 it seemed incredibly cheap and we half expected it to be useless. The batterypack is basically 4 rechargable batteries contained in a plastic case which allows easy charging without fiddling around with individual batteries.

I bought this a while back for a coach journey to Italy. It really is extremely handy.
The pack is quite bulky but since it runs on 4 AA batteries that is expected.
Since it runs on 4 AA batteries it is a great help unlike some other ones on the market. You don't have to charge the pack up just when its run out of power put 4 new batteries in, which could be bought from nearly everywhere.
Its connection is simple just like the computer to iPod connection but without the usb. For the price it is, it's a real steal compared to other brands and packs out there.
Some people complained that it didn?t charge the iPod but it never said it did even though I have taken this out of my iPod and my iPod battery life was from dead to full.
