Advantages: Powerful, Easy to configure, Good support, Low cost Disadvantages: Needs extra 'modem' for each broadband Connection, Occasional reboots required
have a ?first time connection? support line, which I?ve also used when I signed up to Be Pro, an ISP specialising in fast ADSL2+ broadband. Setting up ADSL2+ from Be is very different to setting up a normal ADSL connection in terms of router configuration so I was completely lost. I?d called up Be to help me get connected using the Vigor 2950 and Vigor 110 combination but they were not familiar with Draytek routers so advised me to phone Draytek. Draytek did manage to get me up and running after upgrading the firmware on both the Vigor 2950 and 110 and they even published the information on how to their website now.

INTRO
The Belkin N+ router is one of the higher end (consumer) wireless modem router offerings from Belkin. It cost me £85 from PC World, but can probably be found for a bit less if you shop online. The Cable version costs a little less. Reason I bought this one was because two PCs in the house with wireless cards kept losing the wireless connection when I was using a Linksys router (my own PCs / laptops were fine though!). I replaced that with a second hand Belkin, which worked fine but unfortunately, a power cut killed the wireless on it. Liking the performance of that cheaper Belkin router, I decided to stick with Belkin and get this one!
DESIGN
The router looks very stylish and stands up tall rather than laid down flat. It doesn?t appear to have been designed to be laid down flat like many other routers, which may ...
Advantages: Fast speeds, Reliable, Stylish Disadvantages: I had wireless problems, Gets a bit warm, no restart router option in config
The Linksys WAG160N N300 is an ADSL2+ wireless modem router, meaning it has a a modem built in. It is for use with BT Internet connections rather than for use with a Cable broadband connection (i.e. Virgin) although a Cable version is also available. It?s an ADSL2 router, which means it supports the newer ADSL standard, which could mean faster transfer speeds although this really depends on your line quality, distance from Exchange, service with ISP, etc. The router currently costs £74.99 from PC World but a bit less at £59.99 on their website. I bought mine about 8 months ago on Ebuyer for around £55.
IN THE BOX
You receive two ADSL filter
s, RJ11 cable, user manual, manual and software CD, power adapter and lastly, the router itself.
THE ROUTER ITSELF
One thing I quite like about the router is that it looks quite ...
The Vigor2900VG provides all of the features of the standard Vigor2900 router, including VPN and firewall facilities but adds twin phone ports for VoIP (Voice over IP). The router also has the wireless LAN (802.11g) facilities, with advanced security measures. VoIP enables you to use your existing broadband capacity to carry regular voice calls to suitably equipped remote sites, for example another Vigor VoIP enabled router or to other compatible hardware/software products. The WAN interface (the connection to the Internet) on the Vigor2900VG is Ethernet - so connects to any standard routed Internet connection which is delivered via Ethernet.
