Advantages Stops sweating, relatively cheap

Disadvantages need to be very careful to avoid a reaction,

Being a drummer, i often ended up with embarrassing sweat patches whilst performing. I also found that i had excess sweating on my hands that was damaging my confidence so when i heard about driclor i was exstatic!

I definetly recommend buying this product as it does work! however, i cant stress enough that you MUST follow the guidelines otherwise you WILL have a reaction to it.

The first time i tried it, i had shaved my armpits that morning. It says on the packet that you shouldnt apply to newly shaven arms. I thought that 12 hours would be enough so applied driclor to both underarms. After about 5minutes, it began to sting. This gradually got worse and started itching very badly. Luckily i managed to just grit my teeth and bare it but the next morning i had nasty red rashes. The next time i used it, i made sure i followed the guidelines completly and luckily, felt no pain and the next morning my armpits were completly dry!

Here are my guidelines to avoid having a reaction to driclor. If you are reading this please please take this seriously. I didnt think i needed to be that strict, but ended up having the reaction as described above

1) dont use this product on recently shaven armpits. Wait at least 24 hours before applying and even then be very careful

2) dont over apply! A little in this case goes a long way, and putting on too much will cause a reaction. Literally just one roll top to bottom is enough

3) make sure the area is clean and completly dry.

4) if it does start to itch/sting try your best not to scratch it

5) dont attempt to apply driclor the day after you have had a reaction

I know you must be thinking that this cant be a good product if it causes such a severe reaction, but use these guidelines and you'll have no problems. Would have given it 5 stars if it wasnt for how much care you have to take when applying to avoid reaction.

I have always been led to believe that the sweat will find another escape route, so did you notice that with the armpits and hands no longer sweating, that it was happening elsewhere ? You dont have to answer that if you dont want. LOL Thanks. J.
