During the summer months I do suffer, (well I did suffer ) from excessive sweating, I have tried all sorts of deodorants and found one in particular that did work fairly well, during the winter months that is, but once the hot weather came I found I was using it loads. All the claims that normal deodorants last 12 or 24 hours is a load of rubbish to put it mildly, they don't, well they don't for me.
Then I saw an advert on the T.V which was actually for Perspirex, so when I went and did my weekly shop I had a look for it and found it but sat right next to it was Driclor, which claims to do exactly the same but much cheaper so I decided on trying Driclor.
What is Driclor -?
Driclor is an anti-perspirant designed to help excessive perspiration; it is a clear liquid roll- on. It contains Aluminium Chloride which is (for all those that don't know) an anti-perspirant that helps control sweating. It does this by blocking your sweat glands and then releases the sweat naturally through other areas of your body. Quite ingenious really.
How to apply Driclor -
It comes in a small 20ml bottle and is like any other roll on deodorant. Which I might add now you have to put together yourself. ??? Why I have no idea but your have to put the roller ball on which is a bit fiddly but once done it's done. Make sure your arm pits are dry before applying as this may cause some skin irritation. Roll on lightly to the area once a day at night time and then wash off in the morning, and then use your normal deodorant during the day.
Claims -
It says after 1 or 2 weeks you are supposed to see a dramatic difference and then you can reduce the amount of times you use it.
Does it work -?
Definitely YES, I have been using it for weeks and weeks now and I have now found I only need to use it once maybe twice a week, I think it is the best thing since sliced bread. Like I said at the start I did used to suffer quite bad, I could not wear tight fitted tops because it was embarrassing as I found I had wet marks on my top, but even my friends have commented on me wearing tight fitting tops now, but that's because I feel completely comfortable and confident, so now I can wave my hands in the air and know there are going to be no unsightly patches. I can tell you it's a real confident boost. It has a slight smell to it a bit clinical if that makes sense but defiantly not unpleasant, but it's only for the night because you apply your own normal deodorant in the morning.
Side Effects -
It does sting or tingle a bit after you put it on but for me it doesn't last that long, when I first used it I had just had a shower and shaved my arm pits and I put loads on. A big no no, boy that did sting, I guess I should have read the instructions first. So only put a light covering on, that's all you need. But after that I did as it said and to honest the more I used it the tingle became less and less, so please read the instructions first. Don't apply to broken or irritated skin. It does say it has no harmful effects on pregnant or breasting feeding mothers.
Conclusion -
Without a shadow of a doubt I think it's great, it does what it says it does and for such a small bottle it will last me ages, worth every penny.
9/10 they only reason why it's not 10/10 is because of the slight tingly feeling you get.
I'm sure that this product does not suit everyone, i know some people have had some bad reactions from it, but all i would say is try it, it does work for me and if it does works for you it is a gods send.
Price -
I brought mine from Sainsburys which costs £5.65 but can be as little as £3.97 from the internet. I think you will be able to find it almost any where now.
Thank you for reading.
Once again PLEASE read the instructions before you use.

Really good review. I've been using Perspirex and it's affected my skin badly, so I'll give this a whirl

People perspire for good biological reasons, some more so than others. IMO to try and suppress it is not a good idea. It's only because of western society's' hang-ups that these products do so well. I wouldn't use it.
